A few things:

1) Consequences. Life is full of rewards and consequences.

2) Little man energy on both sides. For one the fat man posturing like so

and saying "you think I am afraid of you" - which, whenever a man postures with nervous energy and says stuff like that, it means they are some combination of afraid, miserable, and not in control of their own energies. As for the other guy: you can just tell he has been "holding that in" for years, and that it made his day to knock another man out - especially based on his reaction afterwords.

Just little man energy on both sides; but the words "little man energy" could describe 95% of the modern male populace.
