This at the core is the center of what Conor probably has been preparing for this whole training camp. Reguardles what some of you dweebs think, Conor was not spending the last 6 months learning shoulder rolls and exit angles nor was he drilling jabs or working the speed bag.

Rather then refining his boxing technique he obsessively sought for weakness in the system of boxing. Studying the box that boxers have trapped themselves in, learning their paterns and their fundementals. I mean it is quite easy to spot things that boxers do. It is not difficult to see that most guys are racing to master a system that works. Make no mistake about it, the system of boxing does work. It is a good self defense but it only works every time against a boxer.

In other words boxing although plenty good against the average Karate Guy at the bar, or say a wi ching fighter in China, will not be enough to defeat Conor Mcgregor in a fight. The art of boxing is at its most deadly against another boxer. When one fighter has a firm grasp on the system of boxing while the boxer he is fighting is a few years behind, the skill disparity becomes apparent.
This exact scenario is seen a lot in the cage. Michael Johnson vs Khabib is a prime example. Sure Johnson had better boxing and was winning when Khabib attempted to out box him. Johnsons skill disparity became null in void when another form of MMA, primarily wrestling showed its face and that was that.

Conor knows this, he knows the limitations of a pure boxer. But even more profound is the fact that Floyd does not. Floyd is so deep inside of a bubble that he will literally be drowned in it come tomorrow. No one will know what happened. The shock.

Here are a few things I believe Conor will do

He will look to stay just outside of typical boxing range and look to use his footwork to land from places Floyd would never dream a punch is coming from. Expect a lot of lead straight lefts.

On the inside is where Conor will do the most damage. Floyd is a master of controlling the clinch. He plays it up there, it is his home. You'll see him attack with a wide arsanal of lethal body punches and ofcourse that stinging lead right.
That's all nice and fun but I'll be serious. That shit only works because Floyd is better at boxing technique on the inside against boxers. He is going against a man who spars Greco Roman wrestling always. Which means he will not be able to hug Conor, his knee will be mangles by "inadvertent" knee clashes. His Head will be lowered to any position Conor wants it, this won't be separated because it won't be considered a clinch. lol Floyd will not be able to do anything.

This I believe is what Conor meant when he said "I know how to break the shell" that position only works when floyds backed against the ropes. It is less effective in the center. The shell is cracked because Floyd won't know how to handle what is waiting for him inside the clinch.

It's over

Waaaaay off but at least you made your prediction and stuck by your guns.

How can retards like you breath and type at the same time?

You can't "hack" boxing. Hopefully people understand that by now.

He came to out box a boxer which is what he said he wouldn't do.

im going to curse you

With good luck? Thanks.

Look, I understand what you were trying to do with your analysis, but you have to understand: Boxing is already a highly-developed sport.

You are not somehow the first one to think about things like "staying out of range" and "the pocket" and "boxing angles".

Shocking, right?

Anyway don't take it too personally

Conor just need's better technique and cardio. He relies too much on his athletic ability, reflexes, and awareness.

Even coach k said "when you get inside lead with the knee" in between rd 8 and 9. Which goes to show that my words were pat of canors game plan lol

Lol, Floyd just walked thru his weak punches, laughed at them, kept him alive for the audience.

Con knows dees tinnggs. Like water.

I just found it funny. Almost every boxer could use more stamina and better technique even haha

Yeah, but the difference is they've trained and had matches for years and years, he hasn't. He could improve by bigger margins than other guys.
