I thought it was interesting how he said that when he made his pro debut, MM was already the champion. He was green as hell in their first fight and was thrown in there to be slaughtered since there was no one else for Johnson to fight, but that loss drove him to get where he is now and you could see him improving more and more every fight after.

Regardless what I think of the decision, I do find the chaos of DJ getting dethroned entertaining and breathing some new life into flyweight, no matter how long it lasts. It’s like when Penn lost to Edgar, Silva lost to Weidman, and GSP won against Hendricks.

Didn't watch the fight and flw and wmma I'm not big on but I watched Cejudo's post fight conference and he seems like a great guy.. I'm happy he won.
