Agree? I mean I love Conor (and Siver), but Henderson/Cowboy is a very high caliber fight.. I'm definitely more excited about this one.

I really hate all the "real main event" stuff.

Especially when we have a completely serviceable main event.

Cerrone/Bendo is a good fight, but the Conor fight is the most heavily hyped, it's the reason they're in Boston, it's the reason they've sold as many tickets as they have etc.

I was honestly more pumped for Bendo/Alvarez.

I think Bendo is declining anyway.

Bendo/"Cowgirl" would be a great Main Event, however, we all know how this story ends..."Cowgirl" will join the "prestigious" ranks of getting beat by the same dude 3 times (a la Sonnen/Gumby).

    Believe That!

i'm fine with mcgregor/siver being a main event however, i don't think that fight will be going 5 rounds whereas benson/cerrone could, and would benefit from those 2 extra rounds way more... so it's kind of a shame the way it's turned out

No I don't agree. the event was pretty much built around McGregor. If he wins, he challenges for the title in probably the biggest fight of 2015.

Cerrone/Henderson is a good scrap but nothing is on the line. If this was the main event, the arena wouldn't have sold out and FOX probably wouldn't have been interested. This is the third time these guys have fought and nothing is at stake.

I think I will enjoy seeing siver beat Conor, more than Cowboy beating Bendo

I didn't really think about it this way. The main event only needs one round this time lol, I'm sure Conor would be down with giving Cowboy and Benson his extra time.

This is a weird fight. I feel like Bendo should win this pretty easily based on their last fight and the fact that Cowboy is fighting on about 2 weeks notice. On the other hand I think Cowboy has improved his game much more than Bendo since that last fight. I'm hoping Cowboy takes it, but I still feel like Bendo is gonna win.

That fight is indeed of a much higher quality. Gregor vs Siver is a joke.

Just because a fight looks better on paper that does not mean it is the "draw" (main event)
    You do realize that, right?

Great fight, should be # 1 contenders if not for Bendo losing recently. For sure for Cowboy, however unfair that may be. But Bendo IS former champ with several defenses (although controversial) which would mean a whole lot.
