at the press conference after Nick started answering questions. I felt bad for the guy. He just looked like he didn't want to have any part of it and wished it was over. I did laugh though. Cause it's at someone else expense.... :icon_twis

I agree that Hendricks seems like a guy with a sunny disposition, who isn't entirely comfortable in front of the camera, trying to hype up a fight. Someone posted an article in another thread stating that in his college amateur wrestling days, he did play up the "bad guy" role, but that seems to have gone by the wayside in his time in Zuffa.

What he has in common with Nick Diaz is that neither wants to be in front of the camera. What sets them apart is that Hendricks mans up and fulfills his obligations (to the media and to his bosses), while Diaz either runs away, or makes a circus of the proceedings (which is childish at best and pathologic at worst).

I think it's sad to see Nick Diaz waste his potential at greatness by not being able to fulfill basic professional responsibilities, and I hope that if/when he does split from Cesar Gracie, he will find a manager/support that will guide him on the path to greatness.

I think Hendricks was nervous because he could feel the bad boy from his ammy rassling days stirring and didn't want to let him out. He's trying to be the Aw Shuck Country Boy that everyone loves, but he also wanted to rip Diaz apart for all the crap he was saying. He had to work hard to check himself.

Do you happen to have a link?

I noticed that, he kept sipping his drink everytime Diaz referenced him. The last time he unscrewed his bottle and it was empty an he fiddled with it.

Diaz said "how can you sit next to GSP when you're going to fight him, i don't get it'. Words to that effect. Maybe Nick, Hendricks and GSP aren't head cases and can sit next to a man they're not going to fight for 6 months.

Diaz ranted like a lunatic again, blaming everyone bar Baby Jesus for his loss.

"Aren't you two gonna fight now, why are you sitting next to each other?"

Because he was shitting his pants that perhaps DW would give him a rematch

I think Diaz loves being in front of the camera
He won't shut up & hogs the spotlight
I think his issues is "doing what he is told" not the camera part
He has issues with authority more than being camera shy

He was trying to prevent himself from shouting "YES! YES! YES" or "NO! NO! NO!" like his WWE counterpart, Daniel Bryan.
