I just rewatched hendricks vs condit and I was quite shocked about the fact that hendricks has zero ability to GnP. he took condit down for million times but it was condit who striked from the bottom. hendricks from the top was unable not only to strike but also to move at all.
so Im wondering here if that will be a factor in his fight against gsp. it is reasonable to assume that hendricks is able to take gsp down, but his inability to do anything from there could bite him in the ass...

not being able to do much against Condit on the ground != "zero ground game"

i too was surprised how unable he was to do more than keep "top control".

    GSP 50-45

GSP will dominate Hendricks on the ground. I see him reversing him from the bottom often if he gets taken down. Which I don't think will happen but the injury affected his wrestling severely. How often does Diaz stuff takedowns? Whatever GSP beats Hendricks convincly, dare I say finish?

No Condit has some of, if not the, best sweeps in the sport. The guy swept DHK like it was nothing and made Georges work really hard to stay on top of him.

First, ZERO ground game is different than unable to gnp condit who is one of the most active fighters off his back.

Also, gsp and condit are two totally different fighters off their backs.

I don't think Hendricks has any plans to end up on the ground with gsp.

    Gsp via ud.

Hendricks won that fight purely on takedowns even though Condit did more damage from bottom. Takedows should be meaningless really unless you do something with it like GnP or sub attempts. This isn't wrestling, this is MMA.

Yes. That is why Bas Rutten always gets confused and tries to kick him.

condit has an incredibly active ground game. that type of fighter puts the guy on top on defense and doesn't allow him to engage in effective gnp

Hendricks has superb wrestling and good stand up but his ground game once it actually hits the ground is a valid point and I can't see it being on the same level as GSP. Still Condict is a mother fucker and you have to watch him down there or you'll be subbed.

    50-45 for GSP.

Would love to see Hendricks win. Doubtful, though.

I'm even gunna give GSP his first finish in a while. Rd 4 sub. Hendricks will gas by then.

I sure wouldn't make that dare if I were you. Don't sleep on Hendricks in this fight. Why people are just dismissing him out of hand is beyond me. I think GSP wins, but this is going to be his toughest test in quite a while.

Well you probably picked him to submit Condit and TKO Diaz via cuts, so you might as well stay consistent in your delusions!

You'd think Jones vs Gus would've enlightened some people. "Jones is gonna walk straight through Gus...etc" Let the doubters sound off, I agree with you that GSP is gonna have his hands full with Hendricks.

It honestly blows my mind. Hendricks might have the best wrestling credentials of any fighter to ever compete in MMA, has nasty knock out power and an ultra aggressive style. This is by no means an easy fight. To pretend it is is ridiculous

It's not that Hendricks has ''zero'' ground game, it's that Condit is really really hard to hold down and hes really active on his back. Georges was even struggling to take him down and keep him there, that says a lot about Condit's ground game considering Georges St Pierre is the best Wrestler in the UFC!
