I am thinking Hendo v Anderson II...............as the co-main for NYE card w/a Jones/Gus v Cormier main event(Or god willing a Rousey v Cyborg main event). I'd like to see one more attempt at a run from him in his proper weight class post TRT. Anyone else up for this fight? Or do you think Hendo should hang em up.............. or maybe fight a few showcase bouts at 205/HW(Wand, Big Nog, Lil' Nog, Franklin ect...)?

If he's going to make a run at the 185 title, he needs to do it right away. I don't think he has any time left for showcase bouts.

I don't see him in either case being a contender again. LHW is just too strong for him at this point and MW is a tough division.

He should take showcase fights now

Hendo should spend the rest of his career fighting showcase fights against foreigners

    'Merica!

Retirement... But Hendo wont be killed easily. He had his soul taken last night & still wants to fight.

Well, that's kind of the thing....one or the other. He could easily go the Chael/Wand route and put on fights that sell with out worrying about a title run. Kinda like Couture(Toney, Vera, Coleman) or Hughes did(Serra, Renzo, Almeida) both going 3-0 until they tried one last actual contender on for size.

He's in a tough spot, i've always thought Hendo was better when not cutting weight but at this point, but he doesn't beat Jones, Cormier, Gus.. I thought he won the Machida/Evans fights though.

MW, he is cutting weight and at 43 that must be brutal.. IMO just pick a few good fights at LHW and retire.

I'd like to see him retire but the guy loves the sport too much. I definitely don't blame him for not wanting to go out after a beating like that though.

hendo should retire. at his age, hendo should think about life after mma. who knows if he'll suffer any long term brain damage from all these years of fighting. hendo doesn't need to take any more risks to his health by continuing to fight.

He's gotta retire. That old body needs a break.
