There is a lot of bias floating around these boards. Palharas is a dick but honestly what he does is much more understandable than what Hendo does. You cant used the "Hendos in the moment excuse" both of them are. People fake tap all the time and getting a sub on a great grappler such as Jake Shields is better than Knocking out Lombard. You have much more to lose letting go of a sub early than beating a unconscious dudes head in. There are also many more variables involved in a sub than a knock out. With a sub you dont know when youre opponent is going to be stubburn and not tap so you crank as hard as possible, Lombard has held on 1-2 seconds to long and thats more understanable than bashing a dudes head 2-3 more times when hes clearly out.

He's American so it's fine

One damages serious stuff like knees/ankles...
The other just damages the brain. Is normal.

In simple terms people like Dan , and the primary guys he landed late shots on (Bisping and Lombard ) usually are magnets for the vitriol they receive. Plus Palhares tore a ligament in Pierce's ankle in his last UFC fight after already bring warned of his antics and he continued it after he left the UFC.

Hendo hits guys before the referee intervenes.
Palhares continues to pull on guys legs after the referee comes in to intervene. He's done this in MMA, BJJ competition, and no-gi submission grappling competition.

If you think what they do is the same you are ignorant of Rousimar's career, and the basis of these rules in the first place.

don't worry, things will change once the new owners take over.

Hendo is an animal when he fights, a Japanese guy said something similar in a interview when he fought him, I don't think he intentionally wanted to hurt Lombard but I think he truly hit Bisping the second time in purpose. I even heard people thanked Hendo for that last shot lol

No Dan stops when the ref tells, or makes him stop. He doesn't land a few more when the ref is already in between them.
Is it classy to follow up on a ko'd person? Well that's debatable.
But a Palharas that doesn't let a sub go even when a ref is trying to get him off, is completely different.
And has nothing to do with being 'murican or br, it's dirty.

Not the same thing at all. Hendo follows up with blows until the ref steps in, which he SHOULD. Its not like for example the Rampage/Wand fight where the ref was pulling on Rampage and he still landed 2-3 bombs while Wanderlei was unconscious.

Look at the Palhares fight with Dan Miller.. he thought he KO'd Miller and instantly celebrated, jumped on the cage and everything.. Herbie was like wtf are you doing? I didn't stop it.. and when it was restarted Palhares nearly got knocked out.

Palhares feels the ref and STILL cranks a few more seconds. The damage this guy can do to someones legs can take months to heal, and could possibly end careers.

Certain highly esteemed historical figures get a free pass for marrying children and consummating their relationships, but :eek::eek::eek:philes do not?

alternatively: Hendo stops the instant the ref comes in whereas Palhares does the exact opposite
Hey, don't bring logic into this argument. That has no place in this thread.
