Well if they both enter the fight at 0-0 i'd have to think Helwani would be ranked higher because he has a better twitter trash talk game.

Nik Lentz showed us that poor twitter trash talking will get your ranking dropped.

 

I`d pay a little bit to watch that...just because I think it would be cool to see the GTS in an actual MMA and it probably would KO Helwani. Then, Ariel would show more respect for fighters in his interviews (for fear of getting KOed again).

that's actually not a bad idea. I don't see the troll in this, Ariel Helwani is a legitimate opponent for CM Punk, could be a fair fight.

He was quite the athlete and basketball prodigy from what I hear, which qualifies him just as much as CM Punk to become a UFC fighter. He also has fans.

 

Of course McKenzie would whoop Punk's ass. Punk is not a UFC fighter, he will fight in the UFC but that won't make him a UFC fighter, he won't be any better than any fighter fighting at your local MMA show for nothing or peanuts.

When UFC fighters say "Punk will do well in the UFC", I shake my head, what do they mean by that? He will never fight a guy with a win in the UFC.

Duke Roufus says he "has the technology to build CM Punk." Some real Six Million Dollar Man/Robocop level shit going on at Roufusport. I, for one, take him at his word.

Punk's destiny lies as a commentator/analyst anyway. He should have been brought in in that capacity from the get go.

Good question, what is Ariel's height and weight? I would say he is floating in the middleweight welterweight range. Great thread TS, but I would have to go with Punk because of the BJJ advantage.

He has claimed 6'2, which in male world means 6'1 1/2 is probably his height. No clue on his weight. I'd say he is a tall 155lber

Helwani looks like he would cry if you poked him in the chest too hard. of all the ridiculous matchups, Punk vs. Joe Rogan would be the best. Joe would probably destroy him though, if he could pass a piss test.
