Hi guys, i need some help with a routine for my brother who has started thai boxing a few months ago and is lookin at having a fight later this year. He's 74kg 180cms tall,
he trains 3 times a week muay thai and runs or swims 2 times a week.
His goals are to get stronger, improve on his stamina.

Any help greatly appreciated..

Did you refer him to the stickies on this site yet? I think that would be the best place to start.

yeah chia, we already took a look at them and got some ideas, just want to hear what other ppl think as well

well... do you have something in mind? I mean... do you show up to a fucking party and say "HEY YOU FUCKS, ENTERTAIN ME!" or do you bring something to the table? Do you go to school not having reviewed any of your reading and expect everyone to just carry your ignorant ass along, or do you come armed with questions for the lesson? what the fuck do YOU think he should do and why?

Yep but still working on it and not too sure if its good to achieve what he's afta..

At this point I'd like to point out that I edited my original post... and add.... WELL?! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU HAVE IN MIND?!

lol, well for cardio im thinking hill sprints, running on the sand and swimming,. Now for strenght since we have limited equipment but we have an olympic bar and a squat rack im thinking this:
Squat
Military press
Bent over row
Upright row
Shrugs

They are all compound movements as you can see, are we on the right track??

And Ghost, i came here for advice not to argue with you, i dnt memba disrespecting u at any time. So if u have nathing thats worth it to bring into this discussion just dnt post. thank you

Don't mind most of the people here. Seems like people get seriously offended if you don't read the stickies.

I'm sure some cry themselves to sleep at night when you don't read the 3087 pages worth of "stickies" material.

But yes deadlift mother effer, lol.

the stickies are carefully organized so that you can read the most important shit (for a neophyte) first. Carnal's treatise, a routine critique, and my web page are all on there, at the top. MMAfun has started like 5 of these threads, and I'm REALLY fuckin tired of them. They always start the same way, "I read the stickies, I need a routine... gimme gimme gimme" and he never seems to put forward any serious effort into making a routine. The first couple threads he made, were met with some good responses. People helped out... but you keep making the exact same shit over and over again and nobody's going to want to keep repeating themselves.

I understand that. But it gets kinda annoying when someone makes a thread, and then 500 people start yelling 'READ THE STICKIES WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU' One person is enough, we don't need half of the people who post here crying over it in the same thread.

hey nub tell your brother or sister for who knows to do squats, they help in fights, don't worry so much about bench pressing, cause you won't be benching anyone in muay, like that guy said in bold Deadlifts, do them plus squats

This is also right. I call it "Sherdoggers S&P Initation Ceremony" :D

upright rows are not a good idea. O lifts would be better. You can buy a flat bench so you can start doing benching
