I have been lifting weights/running alot recently and I have notice when I do exercises I notice one side of my body (mostly my left) is weaker then right

I was wondering what I could do (I've heard Urban talk about isolating exercises aren't any good) and could use help

On my bench how could I work up my left arm/shoulder

Then with my abs how could I work up my left side..

I really would appeciate the help Sherdog and again thank you

Dumbbells with even poundages with maybe one or two more reps on weaker side. I know people wont agree but it will somewhat help out with the size issue.

You cant just work just the left side of the Abs. That's one whole muscle.

Unless you are talking about the Obliques, I dont see a need to care about left and right.

Like I said before, One or two reps on weaker side in each set.

I agree with this but I prefer to keep the reps the same for each side!

I'm confused on what your saying?

You would get different weights for each side? Also again witht he obligues..how could I get those the same as the right side?

He's saying if you do dumbell bench press, use the same weight and don't do extra presses for your weak side.

    Yea.

I'm kinda on the borderline about it.

But he was talking about size so a few reps would help him out in my opinion.

For power, just keep it even on everything.

dumb bells and do try and keep the reps the same. Your body will even itself out. The reason you don't want to purposley do less reps is you will have a harder time catching back up.
