Help me with my 12 week coworker fitness challenge

Two things come to mind. Either they're lying about what they can do or you're going to demolish them. Also your deadlift is probably the highest of all 3 if everything is true. 215 for 5 will give you maybe 250 or more. Keep at it. Maybe you can break 275 or 300. Worth a shot.

Thanks. Yeah thats what I'm going for, 11 weeks to go!

And to clarifiy, I have a dual bachelor's in exercise science/nutrition. I also have a Bachelor's degree in registered Nursing with my Trauma Nurse Specialist certificate and am currently working on my MD (thats med school just in case you cant comprehend)

If you do have all that background, yet you believe half the advice you gave the TS to be true, then there can be only one explanation:

TS, good luck with your training. Just make sure you don't rely too much on slow push-ups.

In that case, disregard the push-ups part!

Also, consider starting a log here.

EDIT: and for fuck's sake EAT!

"I have a college degree. This makes whatever viewpoint I might have the correct one."

To the thread starter: I would personally recommend Starting Strength. I would also personally recommend a gallon of whole milk every day, but it would seem that isn't going to happen. I would have to then suggest eating everything within eyesight in GOMAD's stead.

I hit 240 on my DL today, probably could have gone a bit higher but didn't want to push it. Still have 11 weeks.
