I will be attending live. My ticket for Staples Center says it starts at 3:15PM. UFC website says it says it starts at 7PM PST. I'm guessing Prelims (non-PPV) start at 3:15 and PPV Main Card starts at 7PM?

Are prelims worth coming for early?

I go early and watch every fight
Fuck are you gonna pay all that money for if you aint gonna watch the fights
Early fights in an empty arena are cool cause you can yell obnoxious shit and they can hear you clearly on the broadcast like I did at Weidman-Munoz
And theres always some random fighters wandering around the arena during the early fights and its real easy to meet them, take a picture and have a conversation if its just you and him with no crowd(no homo)
Plus you aint got shit else to do but sit around pulling your pecker so why are you even asking

Fight pass prelims start at 3:15 PM (Pacific)

FS1 prelims start at 5 PM and end at 7 PM

Main card (PPV) starts at 7 PM till whenever the main event finishes.

I’ll be at 227. Should be fun.

Looks like Fight Pass prelims have 3 fights

Danielle Taylor vs Weili Zhang (SW)

Benito Lopez vs Ricky Simon (BW)

Pedro Munhoz vs Brett Johns (BW)

Considering FS1 prelims start at 5pm PST, Taylor/Zhang is probably at 3:30. That's my guess. So I guess it depends on how bad you want to see those fights.

Brett Johns and Benito Lopez are both Bantamweights to watch. I'd definitely be there for those early fights. According to Sherdog fight chronology (which could be wrong), they're in the Fight Pass prelims.

Rarely does a PPV go past 10PM.

This is the fight card of the year... Wouldn't miss a second.

So in other words I'll be watching fights all day pretty much. Nice. Eating, drinking, watching flights, and easy. enjoyable flights to LA and back. What's not to like? I just hope I don't get too fucked up and throw up or something. I'm a lightweight these days. And I hope Staples center has simple but good quality food. Even hotdogs are fine but they must be eatable.

Def worth going in for all the fights.

I saw GSP Koscheck 2 in Montreal, and a lot of guys showed up only for the main card. What a waste.

OK, so firstly, go EARLY, not on time. Go at like, fuckin' noon. Why, you ask? Because there will be a hotel VERY close to the arena and that is where the fighters will be. Look for buses, etc.

Then go into that hotel and chill in the lobby, get a drink at the bar, etc.

Met Cowboy, Bermudez, Zahabi, Bendo, Buffer, Super Sage etc by doing that.

Also, I saw Brian Stann but he was a jerk, so I didn't bother approaching, because why cow-tow to a jerk? He clearly liked his fame.

The coolest people are often (almost always?) the most approachable no matter their level of success.

got my flight and hotels bros! now... Gus x Volkan just needs to be NOT be cancelled!

and Volkan needs to stay away from any gathering of more than 4 men.
