 yea sorry me again. Id like some tips on the armbar. I get nearly perpendicular get his arm traped in my ardms yet whenever i fall back to establish the armbar he is ablse to lift his legs up around my neck. Trapping my head between his legs. I know this soons goofy but i have no clue how to secure the armbar. Whenever im about to slam back he like pivotes and raps his legs aroud my head. tips woudl be appreciated

keep tighter to his shoulder.. dont create space for him to pivot.... if your weight is on him he cant spin...

I dont think ive ever seen this happen on the norm.....

also lean more toward his head untill your confident you have the arm and clear of his legs.. then push the arm back toward his legs.....

or just http://www.bjj.org/techniques/bjjfighter/gi/mount/armbar/

Also, dont start to fall back until.

1. the arm is secure, and
2. You leg is already over his head. then fall back.

i was having problems doind the arm bar too.. just make sure u secure the arm, try holding it as high as the elbow at least.. once u have the arm really tight u shoulfd have no problem

first the arm then the move, make sure his thumb is pointing up, like the fonz , "Eyyyyyyy! "

squeeze your knees together first, make sure the thumb is pointing up, raise your hips. Simple enough right?

1.Keep your weight on his shoulder
2. MAKE SURE THE ARM IS SECURLY IN BETWEEN YOUR KNEES
3.Don't yank the arm fall back slowly creating more leverage.
