you should probably read the faq so that you don't overstep any boundaries doing shameless self promotion on the boards... i think the mods get angry and do something mean involving poultry if you aren't careful

The purpose of my site shows what I carry in store more than selling in internet.
So, I matched the price of both place. - local store and internet.

"shameless self-promotion"

I believe it is not shameful to introduce myself because myself and my business is same to me in here.

I sleep and wakeup with the business. Maybe I will die with business because I love it more than any thing beside my family. Whenever I begin to carry new items or new business - such as MMA, I am very exciting like I will see new girl in School.:icon_chee


Anyway good to see you guys. I will be more careful. Maybe I shouldn't do anything except read the post.

I really need to replace my 14oz Windy training gloves so if CKT ever ends up stocking Windy training gloves...I'm so buying them *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*

I go to school @ Ryerson, so I can walk to the store to shop between classes.

Recently, I contacted Windy and Twins Special. I am more like to carry twins since they do have nice grappling gloves. If everything is ok, I probably begin to carry them by the end of september.

Currently, I have 16oz Boes in my store.

Damn...we've already got Twins at my gym but I've developed a sense of brand loyalty to Windy. My gloves are actually still in pretty good shape, but they're 14oz instaed of 16oz. I haven't received any complaints in sparring, but I'd really like to get used to the added weight.
 
I'm more than happy to have more canadian distributors on board, you guys get screwed with customs.

Everything is not finalized yet. I am still in negotiating stage.

Since weather is so bad- windy and rainy, the weather is one of the biggest factor of sale in local market. I have nothing much to do but sit tight on computer.

Let me tell you a little inside story. I plan to carry Thailand brand at the beginning of This year. I ordered some sample from A company - I don't want to reveal the name but, it was a major company.

It cost about US$1,000 for good.

Do you know how much for duty and delivery? It was damn $600 US as far as I remember. I don't know where the calculation has came from.

Compared to Thailand, the expenses from US is joke.

So, right now, I am kind of be careful about that. But, I will carry them anyway in near future. Simply I want to carry best products.

Anyway, If I start carry either brand, I will let you know if it is not against rule.

I'm in the process of setting up a Canadian online mma store, with any luck it'll launch sometime soon and I plan to carry all the big names in gear!

I am in the Toronto area and I've viewed your online store.

Your SPRAWL shorts are a bit pricey and so are your gloves.

I went to http://www.canbox.ca (canadian company) and most of their gloves are at least $10 cheaper than what you have listed...

I understand that as a business you need to make money but I know off of ebay you can get a brand new pair of SPRAWLS for about $50-$55CDN.

Do you guys at least do deals with bundles like say if someone wanted to pick up about 140 worth of equipment?

Dear friend:

Yes, I can work with price. Please come to my store. In fact, I do everyday similar things. If you ask me to match the best price you can find in internet. I don't think I can do it.

Althought SPRAWL is very popular in world wide, the markup is much smaller than other items. Honestly, I am a bit surprised how the other companies can do that price of SPRAWL since I know what is the wholesale price.

I will let you guys know how I setup the price of items which I want to tell you long before.

10 years ago, it was much easier. Get items and add some reasonable markup. I believe most of customers were happy about that.

Now, what I doing is.
Find average price of items in internet, and find the usual extra cost- shipping and duty for US company or shipping only for Canadian Company- what a customer might pay. add them together. Hoply I can get some profit from the price. At the same time, a customer get some fair treatment.

I don't think I can provide the best price no matter what I do. But, it might be better service since no waiting time.

Again, please come to my store at any time, I will see what I can do for you.

Dear Canadian friends:

Since a lot of people question about the price, I will do some break only for sherdog members.

By the end of Sept 15, I will do 10% discount all items when you buy in my store included SPRAWL, TapOut except Affliction - please forgive me about that.

Also, whoever in Canada do order from my site, The price is not discounted but, I will cover delivery charge.

To be fair, you have to mention the member id when you order.
If this goes well, I will expand it .
