Hell Frozen: Tucker Carlson Tells the Truth @ Bernie

On the flip side. The Trumpsters that scream for AMZN to do the right thing simply because Bezos hates Trump are just as bad as Jack. Just 2 sides of the same coin

And please do not use ticker symbols just because I do Jack. WMT is a ticker symbol, not a cool abbreviation for Walmart

Same Schtick

But such a wrong post. All one has to do is browse the threads in the WR to see both sides defending one while attacking the other

You, yourself rally against corporate greed and scream for better wages yet look at your first posts in this thread

You will defend what you rally against simply because the CEO is part of your tribe.

The positive is that most posters see through you at this point

You're just making up positions and attributing them to me, even after I've corrected you, which makes you a liar, doesn't it? You will never see me "rally against corporate greed" or "scream for better wages" because that's retarded--whether you're talking about WMT, AMZN, or anyone else (you need changes to incentives rather than exhortations for individuals to act contrary to how they're incentivized to get real change). As I said, hyperpartisans with no values like you cannot understand regular people.

You know I'm a stock analyst, right?

You must be so conflicted.

His point here makes no sense.
Relying on the government to subsidize your employees so you can get rich makes sense to you? I mean, I know you are stupid, but that should make sense

Also, LOL @ the tards in this thread making this about ISIS somehow

He's not wrong. That bewildered muppet looking dude isn't as bad as many would have you believe.

Not really. He was still a total douche. After admitting that only Bernie was going after these corporations with important legislation, his conclusion was “But it will never pass because, despite what they might say, the liberals in Congress will never vote for it.” You know, neglecting to mention that the GOP has a majority in both houses and could pass any piece of legislation without a single “liberal” vote.

I should add this to the OP.

Weird framing that we see from the right and the left is that if liberals don't have the votes to prevail, it means that they secretly don't support the policies they support. Though in this case, the proposal is terrible.

I apologize. You do not support higher wages and better treatment of employees

Once again, there is an entire thread on Good Compaies who treat their employees well where us regular people discuss them.

I’m thinking I’ll just have to deal with your hyper partisan stalking routine of my posts until I can get a restraining order

Wait, am I stalking you or ignoring your dumb thread? And, no, I support better treatment of employees, and I think that unionization or regulations are the way to get that rather than expecting consumers to do the research and steer companies that way with spending patterns. Likewise, I support policy fixes to inequality and poverty rather than, again, just consumers stupidly thinking they can make that change themselves. And "corporate greed" is not a term I'd use or a concept I think is interesting. Corporations do what they are designed and incentivized to do. I'm not sure if that's legitimately too complicated for you to understand or you're deliberately misrepresenting my positions. Neither would surprise me given our previous interactions.

Oh. You support better treatment of employees but think a thread on it is “dumb”. Meanwhile you are a stock analyst who will grade stocks and likely support those companies that treat their employees like dog shit.

You are the definition of a walking talking hypocrite

As an analyst do you point out the evils of the companies you “analyze” or is it all about profit? It’s not a surprise that the more we find out about you the more we see you are all talk and no action when it comes to your beliefs. But that is common when one puts tribe before everything

Why actually try to support higher wages and better treatment of employees by ones own actions when you can wail on a karate forum about it. Right Jack? Doing something yourself would actually take effort. Words are more important than actions.

Carlson has been one of the best political commentators around the last year or two.

From what I have seen of him he’s definitely better than Hannity or the Judge lady. But he seems to have crazy people representing the other side

Bernie vs the laws of capitalism

An argument much older than Bernies red Audi R8

Corporate welfare isn't capitalism, it's socialism. I understand why the government feels it's necessary, but I don't like it.

Social Security has been incredibly effectively at reducing poverty. http://www.nber.org/aginghealth/summer04/w10466.html
That is idiotic. All poverty fell. Poverty fell faster in capitalist countries then socialist countries. I have no problem with social security, I actually think its necessary in a society that has lifespans that significantly exceed the ability of an individual to contribute to society but this type of idiotic analysis is worse then simply bad, its intentionally misleading and dishonest.

Edit/ Caveat:
Carlson still managed to be a shill in the segment. After admitting that only Bernie was going after underpaying corporations like Amazon and Walmart with important legislation, his conclusion was “But it will never pass because, despite what they might say, the liberals in Congress will never vote for it.” You know, neglecting to mention that the GOP has a majority in both houses and could pass any piece of legislation without a single “liberal” vote.
