Couple that with his refusal to accept No-gi forms, and I would agree with you. I mean the Gracie name was the ONLY name in BJJ. Now you have people like Eddie Bravo, and the Gracies being beaten repeatedly in MMA competitions, and you can see why he does not want his art to change.

Dude, headlocks are stupid, and bjj does teach you how to get out of them, but we never do because no one's stupid enough to use a fuckin headlock unless you're a 1 month whitebelt.

What I meant is defending yourself in a real situation is more important than knowiing all the half gaurd passes and all that stuff thats all
