Law Hegseth shared detailed military plans in second Signal chat that included his wife and brother

From the side that bitches non stop about DEI and people having jobs they aren't qualified for, this shit is fucking hilarious.

If you came to the midwest you wouldn't be surprised. All the rural Republicans inherited their farms and never had to leave to look for work. And in the rust belt all the dying steel mills and construction companies are dominated by nepotism with foremans and managers only hiring their family for the good jobs, and crooked unions protecting the dumbest of the dumb.

Republicans are the kings of unqualified nepotism hires and whoever sucks the most asshole.

"Whisky-Pete" strikes again! How many times can the guy "drunk-text" classified intel before getting fired?

With the amount of federal workers this administration is firing, the are letting this guy keep his job? Pete Hegseth must be the most incompetent employee in the entire federal workforce.

This administration is complete joke!

I was all for being open minded for cabinet positions if Trump thought they could do the job.. but when someone shows you how retarded they are, you best believe them.. especially when they are running the strongest military in human history

This. It's too bad because he's probably the most personable SecDef to hold the position, and YoY recruitment is way up across every service branch. One of the biggest things people shit on after the nomination was his own service record, seemingly unaware how many former Defense Secretaries never so much as served in the US armed forces at all -- Charles Wilson, Neil McElroy, James Schlesinger, Harold Brown, Dick Cheney, and William Cohen to name a handful. But that isn't actually the problem, and one of the worst things about the first signal chat started by Mike Waltz (National Security Advisor) was the complete unwillingness of anybody to own it and simply accept responsibility. It looks like they won't here either.

The refusal to accept responsibility is bad, but the real issue is how incredibly incompetent and reckless these people are with our national security apparatus. It's so far beyond outrageous that there aren't words to do justice to how horrible it is. Grotesque lack of security and utterly rank incompetence. But hey, I'm sure (if/when Hegseth gets fired) his replacement will be a real peach. And by that I mean the Trump crew will go find a drunken frat boy getting thrown out of a Buffalo Wild Wings and give him the job.

It is indefensible, period.

Remember This, @Limbo Pete?

🤯

It was so fucking egregious and reckless, that even the Trump Admin had no choice but to immediately attempt to rectify it. That one was actually the Energy Secretary's fuck up, acting on directives from DOGE (lol).

Changing hiring practices is complicated. Best stick to what you know.

Plus you get to pick up Buffalo Wild Wings at the same time.

Two birds one stone.

And I remember the chud brigade tried to spin it into a positive by saying "Oh so we should be mad to finally have an administration willing to recognize and correct their mistakes?"
