Forget Lawler vs Belfort. Hector Lombard vs Vitor Belfort. The 2 most dynamic explosive strikers in the UFC.

    Who takes it?

Depends who lands on who first....But if this was a long drawn out fight, I'd favor Vitor with the conditioning.

I like Hector chances in the first or second though.

Hmmm, I wonder how this thread started...?
I'm picking Vitor via being more technical standing & can tire out Hector in later rounds to capitalize on a victory.
Also, Lawler is a much better striker than Lombard.

By the way TS, what other original thread ideas do u have?
Not to mention ripping off my idea of having an account name based on a popular retro video game!

Lawler has better standup than Lombard. How do I forget this?

I disagree.. No ones ever thoroughly beaten Lombard standing. The speed difference is also there

    Vitor, no problem.

Hector is boss but knocking out Hendo > roughing up Shields.

Let's not forget Hector recently fought to what were essentially draws with Boestch and Okami. He's not truly a world beater at 185.

TRT Vitor wins via 1st rd spinning kick KO. No TRT Vitor loses a decision.

Because they were inferior to him on the feet. Vitor is not to begin with, so Hector would probably be the one pushing for the takedown.
