Via his Instagram. Also here: http://olimpomma.com/hector-lombard-anuncia-retorno-ao-peso-medio/

I really don't see how he does well there. I could only imagine what Rockhold, Weidman or Souza would do to him - remember Okami and Boestch?

Only time will tell if that was really a bad or good move, but that's a strange decision IMO. Maybe he didn't feel like himself the last fight and cannot cut the weight anymore, who knows.

What do you guys think?

Cool we'll get to see him get beat up some more then.

Less title potential but more entertaining fights.

Im okay with it.

I don't really see him beating anybody in the top 10 to be honest. He could probably be top 15 beating CB Dolloway and Hendo but anyone else would probably beat him.

The only reason he even went down to Welterweight was because Dana forced him to.

I expected him to shrink with the USADA drug testing.

Maybe he found a loophole.

Gets beat up because he's too muscular and gassed out after a few minutes. His response :Get more muscular. Makes sense.

You have seen Hector on salads, now watch him on stakes

I don't get how someone 5'9 could possibly have a hard time cutting down to 170lbs. GSP was fine cutting from like 190lbs, granted GSP could rehydrate with IV. But still, what does he have to fight at to make that possible? 5'9 185lbs is crazy.

IV ban or not he did cut the weight under usada drug testing(assuming he passed the test)
And he looked better than I thought vs Magny, somehow I expected an Erick Silva like performance.
His gas tank was an issue before too and he put 100% into finishing Magny there, who is a durable guy.
I don't see how a move back to MW would help, he was doing badly there even when he was younger.

He clearly beat boesch as he was terrified and landed nothing significant. Just light low kicks.Weird Dec.

Okami fight was very competetive until the last round.

Lombard is a tough fight for anyone even at his age. I'm always excitied for his fights and a ton of great matchups

Lombard anuncia, molte volte, la peso mediano

Does anyone think Lombard would have had a good chance against Rory anymore?
