damn I just watch their fight last night and damn they just go for the kill in the 1st round.

Hector prove that he will not disappoint and bore us again.
If he has been more aggressive with Tim, he would have won the fight and he was the true winner in that fight anyway, just loss by making the fans disappointed and judges disappoint by his little rock performance, but last night, he's a BEAST!:icon_twis

Damn now I even want to see him fight Weidman next or even Anderson Silva next, but Hector call out Bisping last night and want to whoop Bisping.
Hector is going to brutalize Bisping just like Dan Henderson does to Bisping.:icon_chee

Chad Mendes was also impressive too.
if Aldo didn't grab the cage, Mendes would have put Aldo on the ground an pound him few times and the fight would have been different.

So Hector is outjabbed by Boetsch and now he will beat the best guy at outworking people at MW in Bisping? Sure.

As for Mendes, he beats a guy with no decent wins and no prior fights in the UFC, and that means he would have had a 'different' fight against Aldo if he didn't grab the cage? You're on something good.

Ninjas please, Aldo was beating Mendes and mentallly breaking him in the first round.
Mendes would have got him down and done what he usually does and lay on aldo. Just because he beat notoriously fantastic striker Cody McKenzie and a guy who got the short notice shot because he is from the same team as Bendo doesnt make him an mm legend. SMH

if all it takes to beat him is a fence grab then he can't be that great.

Mendes needs to be beating top 10 guys. Same with Lombard. They did both look good though.

You mean he controlled the stand up, stuffed the takedowns, took Boetsch down and hurt him with a body kick, while Boetsch did next to nothing?

Lombard controlled everything on the feet.

You didn't even watch the fight did you. And lol at dismissing Lombard for Bisping... it would be a good fight.

Looked good in their fights last night, not much of a test for Chad imo, and it is getting more and more apparent that Palhares has nothing but his leg locks. This being said, they both did the job expected of them in impressive fashion.

    haters will always hate lol.
dude above just a Hector hater.
yeah everyone saw the fight was boring because everyone was expecting Hector will go aggressive and KO Tim.
Hector won the fight, Hector lose the judges.

hope Vitor got injury and Hector replace him in FX7 so Hector can knock some sock into Bisping skull.:icon_chee

Bisping will put a great fight, but i wanna see Hector knock him out cold like Dan Henderson did to him.

Boetsch outworked him, Hector did nothing for the majority of the fight. You can't win a fight in the eyes of the judges if you do your best impression of a punching bag then hit back every so often. Hector IS the more skilled fighter in my opinion, but he didn't win that fight.

Yeah I did watch it, see my above post. Hector just stood there for the majority of it and hit back every so often. I'm not disputing he has better skills than Boetsch but he has that stalking style where he only throws power shots and he just got outworked imo.

Hector maybe. I'll ignore the fact that he out struck a well known grappler...

But Mendes? U don't think every other top 3 fighter would look impressive against a way lower teer fighter who took the fight on 6 days notice?

Pretty biased post with no facts.....Bisbing is a far better striker then Palhares.....I see Bisbing picking him apart on the feet for a UD...If Bisbing beats Belfort he will be fighting Anderson Silva next since GSP is most likely going to be fighting Nick Diaz....

You if Mendes put Aldo on his back but guess what he didn't....Alot of what ifs there man....If Sonnen had stayed out of the Triangle he would have been champ(see what I did there):icon_chee

Hector haters are mostly Silva nuthuggers who are mad because we insulted their god by saying Hector can make a run for the title when he first entered

I don't see anything close to what your talking about in anyone who has responded....I'm not a Silva fan at all, I think Bisbing would pick apart Lombard on the feet for a UD.....Don't get all hot and bothered because Lombard knocked out a fighter who's claim to fame is leglocks and BJJ....Lombard was a big fish in a small pond....I would like to see him fight a guy like Belcher or Okami before claiming he is the 2nd coming of Jesus

Lombard fought a more dangerous opponent. Can't really say Mendes was "impressive" he did what he was supposed to do being such a high caliber fighter against a guy debuting in the UFC.

I could only stand to watch the fight live, it was awful. But if I remember Boesch did next to nothing, a few pissweak kicks while shuffling backwards, and Lombard threw some punches, hit a TD and landed a good kick.

I think a draw due to mind-numbing inactivity could be justified, but how Boetsch won that fight is just mystifying.
