Jones would fight at heavyweight if this was the case, it's unfair to expect Jones to fight a 265 pound SUPER heavyweight, Jones would still win but could get injured very seriously.

UFC needs a Super Heavyweight 225+ division for people like Daniel Cormier and bigger

Why the obsession with Jones fighting HW, so strong that it's making you want to redefine what the division even means?

Shane Carwin would have been a force at 225lbs...just would have needed to cut another 3 or 4 inches.

This thread is a blast from the past. This opinion was kind of chic back in the days of Lesnar and Carwin.

I feel like 6'5" Carwin could beat Jones, but 6'1" Carwin may struggle, like he did against Lesnar.

After switching venues, the next step would be to overhaul an entire division

Good lord what an absoutley awful idea. that really would be in the final nail in the coffin for the HW division which is already on its knees and lacking badly.

He hasn't ever made any and is a LHW who's never had a bit of trouble making 205.

I’d agree with 225lbs as the HW cut off and making 265 SHW if LHW and HW were overflowing with talent. As it stands both divisions suck. Splitting them into 3 divisions is a terrible idea.

There's been a surge in shit-threads via orange-belts recently, starting to think it's all the same guy.

If anything light heavyweight should be 200 - 225lb. 225+ should be heavyweight with no upper limit.
