Don't tell my wife but I've had a mad crush on Heather Hardy for years now. Not only do I think she's quite hot but I enjoy watching his fight as well. For a girl with no real athletic gifts or a high level of skills she always put up a hell of an effort & thus far in his boxing career it's been enough for her to go unbeaten in his first 22 pro fights & net her a world title.
But on September 13 at MSG's Hulu Theater she's facing her most formidable foe by far in Amanda Serrano who is a multiple-time, multiple weight class world champion with a 36-1-1 ( 27 KOs ) record. And, I can't help but feel sorry for Hardy because the fight is going to be a horrible mismatch. Heather is only effective when she can come forward & outwork & outgut her opponents as she's a volume puncher with limited power as she only has 4 KO victories to her credit. Something that Serrano isn't going to allow her to do as she's both the superior technician & by far the superior puncher. I'm afraid that "my girl's" unbeaten streak is going to come to a rather ugly end as she's likely to take a beating en route to a loss inside six rounds or less.
My only hope is that both Hardy & Serrano are going to both make career-high purses from this fight as they deserve it. Though, I doubt that they're going to make all that much as their fight is just a part of a quadruple-header on DAZN that also features Devin Haney vs Zaur Abdellaev in a battle of unbeaten lightweight contenders, heavyweights Sergey Kuzmin vs Michael Hunter & Daniel Roman vs Uzbek powerhouse Murodjon Akhmadaliev for Roman's 122 ib title.

Seeing Hardy makes me sad for female boxing, she had to jump to MMA just like Holm to try and get a payday, only difference with Hardy is she is not talented like you said she couldn't adjust to the ground game or learn it, she should just do commentary but she is already slurring her words. she could also drop a sex tape or do some milf porns and get paid more, thats how low womens boxing pay is.

Serrano also jumped to MMA, and now Ava Knight is making her MMAdebut on Ballator.

Serrano will knock her out, but Amanda Serrano is an 9 division world champion lol, shows you how ridiculous females boxing is, they can grab titles like candy.

Her biggest uphill battle will be with scar tissue and excessive bleeding shortly. You’re in there

Hardy is brutal to watch. She has no defense, its always weird when reporters ask her about upcoming boxing matches and she will criticizes a boxers skills yet she has very poor boxing skills, even worse than the boxers she says dont have good defense.

She got knocked out and out struck by some low level female MMA fighters.

I hope she retires after this, her tongue is heavy, Serrano might knock her out within 5

Aw, man. You're killing me by harshing on my girl. ;)
Seriously though, you're pretty spot on but I've still enjoyed watching her fight. I like that she's been able to do what's she's done after not putting on the gloves in any capacity until she was about 30. Which covers the entirety of her amateur career in the New York Golden Gloves & her 22 pro fights. Not to mention her 2-2 MMA career.
I admire that she's done it pretty much all on heart & sheer willpower.
But, you're right, dude. As fun as her boxing career has been to watch thus far, she's taken too many shots already & after this next one which will likely have an ugly end for her, I think she ought to segue into something else. She's a good ambassador for combat sports, she just needs to find a niche in them that will pay her well.

I hope she retires man for her health. The beatings she has taken have ruined her ability to speak clearly. She never sounded like this 5 years ago. She could have done in ring interviews, it just makes you wonder how come women boxers never get any respect

Holly Holm never got to fight on a Pacuiao, Mayweathe ror De la hoya card even when her manager asked not even the non televised prelims. pretty sad they have to go to MMA to make money

I agree. They absolutely do deserve to get paid a hell of a lot more than they do by the promoters. I mean, I'm not delusional, they're never going to make equal pay to what the men make unless there's a huge change in the market over the next several years. The demand just isn't there among the fans to see women headlining major events & PPVs. But, with the likes of Sheilds, Taylor, Serrano & a few others that are on the scene now that could change. At least to where the women are better compensated due to a corresponding increase in interest among fans.

Serrano should land at will.. you can toss a beer can into the ring and it'll find a way to land on Hardy's chin

There was this small petite redneck female boxer named Hollie Dunwaway, she didnt make any money boxing and then I saw her online doing videos of her nude wrestling but some fetish type stuff you can pay to wrestle her or she can beat you up while she is nude I think she will even punch your balls for you if you pay her, its kinda sad really. She had to basically sell her body out like that. thats how little they pay women boxers get the pay scale is so small all Holly Holm asked was to fight on one of the big PPV undercards but guys like Bob Arum refused.

This is Hollie Dunaway she was a minimumweight boxer.

Wow. She wasn't just some prelim fighter with a handful of fights either. She went 23-11-1 ( 10 KOs ) & held the IBA world title on a couple of occasions as well as fighting for the WBC & IBF world titles a few times. She was no slouch.
It's a real shame that she's got to make a living like she does at just 34 years old. She's a little knock out too. I imagine she must be pretty popular. But, damn, I hope she doesn't hate herself for doing what she does for a living.
