Don't tell my wife but I've had a mad crush on Heather Hardy for years now. Not only do I think she's quite hot but I enjoy watching his fight as well. For a girl with no real athletic gifts or a high level of skills she always put up a hell of an effort & thus far in his boxing career it's been enough for her to go unbeaten in his first 22 pro fights & net her a world title. But on September 13 at MSG's Hulu Theater she's facing her most formidable foe by far in Amanda Serrano who is a multiple-time, multiple weight class world champion with a 36-1-1 ( 27 KOs ) record. And, I can't help but feel sorry for Hardy because the fight is going to be a horrible mismatch. Heather is only effective when she can come forward & outwork & outgut her opponents as she's a volume puncher with limited power as she only has 4 KO victories to her credit. Something that Serrano isn't going to allow her to do as she's both the superior technician & by far the superior puncher. I'm afraid that "my girl's" unbeaten streak is going to come to a rather ugly end as she's likely to take a beating en route to a loss inside six rounds or less. My only hope is that both Hardy & Serrano are going to both make career-high purses from this fight as they deserve it. Though, I doubt that they're going to make all that much as their fight is just a part of a quadruple-header on DAZN that also features Devin Haney vs Zaur Abdellaev in a battle of unbeaten lightweight contenders, heavyweights Sergey Kuzmin vs Michael Hunter & Daniel Roman vs Uzbek powerhouse Murodjon Akhmadaliev for Roman's 122 ib title.
