Headed to Detroit for a few days.....

Gonna be in the area for a family thing thought I head over to Detroit for a few days. Never been there. Any suggestions? Where to stay? Eat? Drink? What to do? Got some great suggestions on traveling the past from my sherbros I'll be there at the end of June and don't plan on renting a car if that helps. Thanks in advance!

You got the casinos and some bars. I work just north of downtown, so I'm learning the lunch spots, but not so much the night life
