People must've forgot he was on a 5 Winstreak before fighting Khabib, including a win over Jorge Masvidal.

Then after his loss to Khabib, he went to dominate Kevin Lee for the second time. (Whom people cite as one of Tony's best wins)

The man is tough as they come with a lot of heart.

Just because you hate Khabib doesn't mean you need shit on unrelated fighters

Al is legit, just like todays whole UFC LW division. Its the best division. Making it to the top 15 (or maybe even just getting into the UFCs LW division) is more impressive than making it to the top 5 HW.

Iaquinta is a good example of people equating dislike for a fighter with that fighters not being that good, he was/is hated for coming across as a bit whiny and being in opposition to the UFC brand.

To be fair, its not so much the fans doing it. But it was also Gaethje and other fighters. Gaethje shitting on al which is pretty funny because al went 5 and gaethje only went 2 rounds.

He'd been out of the game as a realtor for two years, was prepared only for a three rounder and his only win in the previous three years was Diego Sanchez.
