News He did what he said he was going to do: "Retire Jon without fighting him"

People still actually believe this lol

Of course the guy has real sources.

Him being blackballed hasn't stopped him from interviewing top fighters long form literally the next day after the fights, and not asking them the softball jabba the hutt questions they get a the pressers.

And Dana cant do dick about it.

So you know if he can't stop that, he also can't stop Ariel from discovering leaks and other things that UFC do not want to reveal.

If Ariel had no power than Dana wouldn't be so infuriated with him and force Paddy to talk shit about him
I watched Ariel do an interview with Kayla Harrison. 1st interview I watched form Ariel in a good 6 or 7 years.. He is the same sniveling trouble-making little ass-clown he always was..

Yes!! He makes trouble for Dana white and it's glorious to shine a big spotlight on the bullshit the UFC feeds us from time to time.

We need to have that.

Dana would have him shot if he could get away with it. Lmao

You know I'm right.

Read slowly: we may never know how good Tom reaslly is because he has not been tested against elite, and he may never be. He lost more than he gained by not fighting Jon.
What fight will you remember Tom by? Then go back and think of epic fights Jon will be remembered by (2xDC, Gus, Rashad, Vitor, etc).

Oh he didn't not fight Jon. Jon ran away from fighting him. John will be remembered as a fight ducking little bitch who is not long for being un incarcerated.

Yeah, ok, Jon ran. IDGAF about Jon, I am too old to be anyone’s fanboy. Jon’a an idiot and has been most of his life, but he’s probably the GOAT for most people (even though it’s Khabib for myself personally). But this is not about Jon, capisse? This is about Tom.

And what do we know about Tom?

His biggest win is Blaydes. Memorable.

Lmao, Jones just Riddick Bowe'd whatever there was left of his controversial legacy/GOAT claim.
Nah, Bowe's was way cooler since before he ducked, he at least threw the title in the trash and didn't fight a retired older fighter coming off a loss and 4 year layoff right before he ducked the rightful challenger. I agree on all your other points though.

I've seen the video. They were joking just like you were in your previous post. So I guess by that logic, you're gay?

Ariel Helwani is a blackballed journalist that has no greater insight into the negotiations than your average fan.

lol he was only blackballed by Dana himself because he broke the Brock Lesnar comeback story before the UFC made their own announcement.

The entire MMA journalism ecosystem almost literally revolves around his interviews and reports. 80% of the articles posted on this forum are fighter quotes from Ariel interviews.

None of the information leaked. The only people who know the specifics of those negotiations are the people who were actually on the phone and their respective teams and managers. Ariel Helwani is just telling people what he thinks happened.

Ariel has been on the ball with a lot of his claims. I'll believe him over Jonny Jesus Jones.

Darkness

Happening to occasionally be right or even most of your predictions coming true doesn’t mean that he knows the actually knows the truth.

When it comes to this topic specifically, Ariel’s writing an opinion piece.

He cites what he has actually heard and when he is just speculating. He is clear on the difference.

What is funny to me is all these people cheering because Jones retired won't pay a nickel to watch Tom fight anyone NOT named Jones..

Ya, the simple truth is that Aspinall doesn’t really have a fanbase. People just support anyone who opposes Jones. Everyone got behind Reyes and Santos when they fought Jones, but they were quickly forgotten.

It will be funny to see them celebrate Aspinall beating Gane and trying to fight Pereira…

..while also saying that Jones cherry picked Gane and tried to duck other HW’s by pursuing a fight with Pereira.
