Hi everyone,

i wanna buy like 4 pair of gloves to do MMA sparring. There is 2 differents pair of gloves that im interesse to buy; Hayabusa Hybrid MMA gloves or the Combat Sports MMA Safety Sparring gloves. On MMAwarehouse the Hayabusa are 79.99 and the Combat Sport 74.99 that not a big difference and i dont really care about the price. The Combat Sports tease me when I read that they have the Same shock dispersing capabilities as a 16oz boxing glove. than I tough that was a good choice for sparring. On the other side, Im a big Fan of Hayabusa Gear even if I think that we pay a lil extra for the name the leather quality is really good, maybe the best that I seen. The Hayabusa gloves have the double strap for an extra Wrist protection. dont know that much about the padding, i dont really care about the look of the gloves. just give me ure comment about those 2 pairs of gloves!

thx!

Combat Sports MMA Safety Sparring gloves are discounted to $40

And I should be receiving my pair tomorrow, I could let you know by then

I just received my order and I can't even use them. They are way to small. I have a very small hand and all my gloves are medium or small. I chose Regular and my hands are very uncomfortable in them. They would be great but I need a large.

What is your hand measurement?

The measurement from the backside of my knuckles is 3 inches, and all around is about 7 1/2

ohhh... feel sorry for u, what a bad luck! I must order XL than if all my glove are Large! thx u for the tip!

Yeah it's pretty bogus. I was stoked about these gloves too. My arm goes tingly when I make a fist with my left hand because it's cutting off circulation

They used to be pretty fast but I noticed in the last two items I've bought from them it's taken about 3 days for them to ship out. FedEx handles the rest and I get them about a day later.

CSI and Ringside recently attempted to go paperless (according to what a rep told me on the phone) and there ended up being some pretty bad delays. It ended up taking ten days for CSI to get my order shipped in the midst of the attempted switch. This happened despite constantly being in contact with them trying to straighten out an issue with a 15% discount not being applied to the order.

Apparently they abandoned the paperless system and went back to their old method. My shipping charges were refunded and I should be receiving a refund for the 15% discount soon as well.

That's pretty good to know. I recently bought a pair of gloves from them (about a month ago) and it wasn't until about 2 weeks ago that it said it was backordered. They never notified me of this and when you select gloves they even said there in stock. I was pretty mad.

I'd like to know more on these two gloves as I am debating the two. Most of our gym uses the combat sports gloves, but I'm also interested in the hayabusas. I thought I read on here that hayabusas quality has dropped lately? and that they really suck to get hit by (hard padding) for your sparring partner? It seemed like the first reviews of the hayabusas were glowing.

New to striking so I value informed input.

I have both of these gloves and the Hayabusas are lower profile which, at least mentally for me, keeps me from hitting my partners as hard as I do with the combats.
I know the foam in the Hayas may be better quality.
