There were 2 cards last weekend. This summer is stacked with cards almost every week and people usually have a lot going on in the summer.

Have you started skipping UFC events? Do you plan to skip any events?

Yeah... market is getting saturated... lay and pray is killing interest.... alternate methods of access piss me off as money grabbing as well as $50.00 a card with possible interesting fights letting us down.

yep, i just pick and choose instead of watching every event now.

Honestly - yeah. For the first time since about '04.

I just could care less about a lot of these cards.

If i miss them live, i'll watch them the next day.

I didn't see either card last weekend. It didn't really bother me. Looking forward to this weekends though. And 174!

In general I can take or leave weaker fight night and tuf finale cards.

I'm losing interest. Used to be excited for cards and now it's like meh.

i never caught every card live, and i watched them afterwards only if it was possible and i was interested. with fight pass and fox sports cards, its either hard to watch them because im not a subscriber or im not interested enough to pursue it.

of course, i watch every single card that im interested in or have fights significant to the division.

so nothing has changed except that im missing more cards because there are more cards, but i dont feel down because they are less relevant. it wasnt too long ago that every card seemed like a gift, though.

I skip fights.. a lot of them. But cards? Not really. Usually if I miss it I watch the few fights I care the day after.

I've skipped things I didn't want to watch my entire life. Never really knew it was some abnormal thing.

2014 is the first year i skipped events, so i guess my answer is yes. i just didn't want to see any ufc for a while after anderson broke his leg, since that meant there were no champs that i liked left in the ufc. also the cards started to get very watered down, with no fights i wanted to see.

I haven't skipped an event. I had to work during the TUF Macau finale, so I left my laptop set with the FightPass event on pause and just watched it when I got back with NO SPOILERS. (no spoilers at work either.... imagine that!)

If I don't have to then no.

I've started to. Last year was the first time. The cards are watered down to the point that they are missable. I watched a replay of Munoz/Moose and will be skipping Swanson/Stephens and Maquardt/Te Huna.

When those are your main events, even for free shows, that's pathetic. I'm sure the Cub fight will be fun but I just can't get excited for those kind of fights anymore. There's too many shows and I can only get interested in the big stars or fights with implications these days.

If there's a fight that's turning into a snoozer, I take that time to take a piss or talk to my friends (I'm almost always watching the UFC at Hooters or Miller's Ale House.)

Never miss a card though.

I have not missed a card in 5-6 years, but I have found myself fast forwarding through some fights when they fall into a familiar pattern, I have also started skipping most of the production between fights.

Partly due to too many sub standard cards and also due to me having a 3 year old that takes up a lot of my time.

The UFC is terrible at making me care about new fighters, they just appear on the under card with zero background information and we are expected to get excited, the odd one has obvious talent and can gain some hype like McGregor or Thatch but mostly they barely register...

I can't see me stopping watching anytime soon but the anticipation I used to feel has severely diminished.

And I don't even pay to watch the UFC so I can only imagine how the people feel that pay $50-60...

I believe the UFC world domination plan and their greed is the main reason for my general malaise with MMA.

I would love the UFC to put on a card every 2 weeks, I think anymore than that is stretching the talent pool to thin.

I skip a lot of them now. I will read the play-by-plays the night of or the next day and go online to find the fights that sound interesting, or that I wanted to see in the first place.
