Because you were so invested in a fight that didn't go your way?
if you mean stop watching for a few months or something then no i havent, i just get back on the horse bro
but i'll lay low from this joint for a while if Conor loses
After Anderson lost I think I skipped a few events...
JJ/Shogun almost got me there
I was pretty pissed off about the Diaz/Condit fight for a number of reasons.
I went on a huge streak of fights where my favourite fighter, or the guy I was behind entirely would lose. It was so frustrating to be watching all the guys I like the most lose constantly.
I need to. Everytime i go online first thing i always do is surf the sherdog. This is an addiction.
After Brock beat Randy I almost did. But then I dug deep, and knew Brock would get his. Two years later and you couldn't wipe the shit eating grin off my face:
"Invested" in a fight? Your favorite fighter lost so your feelings were hurt? And you didn't have the strength to watch MMA for weeks or months? Because you were emotionally damaged?
The other girls on the playground will understand, talk to them.
only between events, but I'm always upto date with news
Wow this is how people should talk about going to the gym or skipping on BJJ practice
Lmao... and no ive never stopped watching because I was butt hurt.
Nah, I got a life for a little while once though. Still sherdogged every few weeks though
Internet assholes man...
no but there are fights that it took me a while to rewatch because i wasnt pleased with the result/emotionally invested.Doesnt happen so much these days though.
No, doesn't sounds like a good reason to me.
It's a fight, a competition, if you care so much about a guy not losing without being personally involved it's clearly a much needed outlet for you or something.
I didn't watch UFC16 through 27 live. But then I came back.
i've lost a couple grand on several fights. hasn't stopped me once.
I've been bumped out for a couple of days if a judging decision goes horribly wrong, only bc its like why do we watch this and root for someone only to be robbed b/c of 2 or 3 guys incompetence or hidden agenda?
I get over it and just realize its unfortunately part of the game...just like a guy getting beatdown. No one can last forever...
