I have once.

Takanori Gomi vs. Nick Diaz in 2007.

I don’t know how many of you people were on this forum from 2005-2007, but about 90% of the people here kissed Pride’s ass.

Most people here were like “OMG, Pride Rules!! UFC sucks!!!” And a lot of people were predicting Gomi over Diaz.

I had seen Nick compete against Sean Sherk in 2006, and Nick held his own. The fight was pretty much a draw. Diaz stuffed a lot of Sherk’s takedowns.

Sean Sherk then went on to annihilate Kenny Florian in October 2006 to win the UFC LW championship.

I had also seen Diaz eat bombs from Robbie Lawler and Joe Riggs, and not get wobbled and keep going. So I thought since he took shots from those two, hung with Sherk, he’d do jussst fine against Gomi. Hell, I picked Diaz over Gomi on MMAplayground.com

Wasn’t surprised the day after the fight when I saw on Sherdog that Diaz gogoplata’d Gomi.

Well, that’s the biggest upset I’ve predicted. How about you?

I predicted Floyd Mayweather would beat Conor McGregor. My heart was in my throat for the first 9 rounds but luckily the tide turned in the 10th.

I thought Holly would beat Ronda. Never been so right and felt so good.

I picked Tyron and Jim Miller to win yesterday, they both closed as the underdog.

Or do you mean something like...

I picked Tyron last night, and gaethje vs Vick. Those were easy sportsbook cash

I like betting on dogs so such comes and goes. Well when I was betting anyhow.

I think Holm vs Rousey was the easiest "upset" to predict in MMA history. Most people I know that follow the sport predicted that.

I predicted that Conor wouldn’t fight RDA and instead he would fight Nate and lose to him. Also Bisping/Rockhold 2. I said that Bisping would ko Luke, because if can knockdown AS, then you can for sure ko Luke.

Why?......he was already beating him after the 7th???

Edit: yes I gave Conor the first 3 even though I understood what Floyd was doing

Yup.

I predicted if Wandrade KTFO Karolina her fans will be very upset. And now I'm predicting if either Khabib or Conor gets destroyed, their fans will be very upset and I'll be there to rub it in their faces.

I'd argue Cejudo vs Johnson was up there

tbh, I'm perpetually selling the underdog to myself, so it happens often by no great knowledge or insight.

I'll be honest and say I didn't predict Holm over Rousey. But I knew Holm would present a different challenge to her, and she's be a far tougher challenge than anyone she fought.

Rose over Joanna the first time around. I was super confident Rose would finish her.
