Some good stories started popping up. So I ask you Sherdog - what is a time where you've missed a crucial or pivotal moment in a big fight that you were really excited for?

I'll start with my own - I was watching Izzy/Periera 2 (technically 4 i guess) and had been holding my piss in since the start of the fight. around the 3 minute mark of the 2nd round i couldnt hold it anymore so i ran into my bathroom to take care of business. right as i finished pissing i heard the crowd and commentators go crazy. then when i come out Pereira is laid out flat and Izzy is celebrating. i saw the replay, but i just missed that big moment by a couple seconds.

Only once did I ever miss a big moment in a ufc fight. I recorded the event zombie vs yair, but the program went later than the time slot, so recording cut off with a couple minutes left in the fight.

I loaded up sherdog and found out the tragic news of yair’s last second ko lol

I’m usually either drunk, high as a kite, or really tired by time the main event after midnight on a Saturday comes around. So technically, I’ve never watched (or can’t recall) a UFC main event.

it’s especially grueling if there’s a WMMA co-main that I have to sit through beforehand.

prelims expert right here

Seems like a lot lately... I feel old, but 12am or later is a trash start time for a Main Event...

I live in Spain....it's torture staying up until SIX OR SEVEN AM sometimes to catch a main event. As a result, I catch the majority of cards, but really, really don't stay up in the main isn't intriguing.

I missed the initial takedown in round one of the Khabib vs Conor fight because I was too busy telling a bunch of drunk Conor fans that Khabib was gonna smash their boy and that whiskey isn't gonna stop those takedowns.

Watched Silva-Sonnen 1 on a stream. Stream cut out during the 5th round and I was so dejected I didn’t even try to find a new stream or refresh the link. Stream came back with Anderson celebrating and me running around my house like a mad man. Never had a reaction like that to a fight since.

Was watching Jones vs Reyes. And the winner by unanimous decision.... *stream cuts out*

frantically checked twitter and was relieved to see jones remained undefeated.

wow thats the absolute worst time for a stream to cut out haha

I have a pretty similar experience, I taped Dillashaw vs Cruz and it cut off just before the 5th round. Had to come onto the dog to see who actually won. To this day I'm not sure I ever went back and actually watched the 5th round lol

There was a glitch in my stream when Leon headkicked Usman.
I was confused as hell when it resumed playing and Usman was on his back staring into the lights. Didn't really take away from the moment though. I saw the replays and was mindblown for a full week.

a moment???? shitttttttttt i was at hooters for gsp vs serra 1 and had a big plate of wings the place was packed no seats ppl standing everywhere right b4 the co main my stomach went bad and i mean bad i had to take a cab straight home..... i check online a few hours later expecting gsp to beat serra bad and see the result

Most recently stream shit out right before Adesanya landed the KO on Pereira. You can imagine my surprise when I got it back and Pereira is dead, seemed like it was about to go the other way.

Another I can recall is missing Diaz finishing McGregor. Back then I used to buy every card and the official stream would not load. Amidst trying to find alternatives stumbled across the result.

Aljo v. Sandhagen was over so quickly that I missed the whole fight
