Have UFC 169 PPV buys been reported?

Deserves 0 buys for that sorry ass card. Trujillo vs. Warner saved it from being the worst card of all time

No but I'd expect 250k or lower. Unfortunately I'm one of the turds that paid 60 bones for that early stoppage garbage card.

Considering Cain vs JDS 3 and Jones/Gus sold pretty bad, I'd be surprised if this one does over 250k

Hyperbole much?

The card wasn't that bad. By no means was it the best card of all time, but I don't think it was the worst. Ironically (coincidentally?) the last card headlined by Faber v Barao (UFC 149) was much worse.

People are hating on this card for all the decisions, but a lot of the fights were actually pretty good. I enjoyed Iaquinta v Lee, Varner v Trujillo, Aldo v Lamas, Barao v Faber (even with the shitty stoppage). The rest of the fights were average, but I honestly don't know if I'd call any of them "bad" fights.

Oh, and TS, as far as I'm aware, the UFC never released buy rates. The numbers you see are estimates (and I have no idea how those estimates are calculated).

I would guess around 1.5 million, seeing as this sport is on its way to be bigger than soccer. Maybe that's high though, more like 1.4 million.

Info from the various PPV providers.

No way soccer is small potatoes. DLH vs PBF did 2.2 mill. This should have done at least 3 or 4...

seriously this. I'm so glad i didn't buy it...

I went to a buddies place this time and he bought it hehehe

edit: as for a guess somewhere between 250k and 400k. 400k being very generous.

Faber and Reem were the biggest draws on the card. Well, I dont know how strong Reem's buying power is now since his losses but I'm guessing this card didn't do so hot.

Faber might have generated some decent buys though.

I bought it, and was not THAT disappointed. An OK card.
