Why was Alvarez considered number 1?
    Opposition?
    Style?
    Number of fights?

Floyd owns this division...but really who is there for him to fight?
How can he prove his greatness?
An undefeated record is great but greatness is defined in the quality of opponents.

Big, strong, young fighter. Just beat Trout who beat Cotto who gave Floyd a competitive fight. Improves every fight. He's already proved his greatness. He's beaten everybody worth noting.

Canelo was always going to be too mechanical with too little work rate for floyd.

He was only "number 1" at 154 pounds and there really isn't much going on in that weight class.

He fought a guy above his division actually. One of 3 three fights he moved to Sr WW for, De La Hoya being another one of them.
