Like say they could never get a match in the UFC or other sanctioned event but really wanted to have at each other

Have they ever went to some private gym or whatever to have their own little match?

scott ferozzo and tank abbot did it in a back yard like 35 years after they retired....
about as close of a reference i can give you off the top of me head
dont waste time trying to find it to watch it, its not good for the soul to watch that 1

Nick Diaz got in a fight with some guy in the hospital after their UFC fight.

There was that UFC brawl after the event in London with Tito, Liddell, Miletich, Lee Murray, etc.

was not even thinking gym fights.. good call.
think about all the un filmed wars from the brazil gyms back the the prime wandy/shogun days.

also. reminds me that crazy horse charles bennet has a few unsanctioned fights.
one in the locker room/lobby of a pride event. arona maybe was the guy? he for sure got choked to sleep though

I remember Krazy Horse fought Wanderlei backstage.
 
I'm sure this happened a bunch of times in the 90s that we don't know about. Especially in Brazil haha.

prolly even a few wandy vs shoguns in there we will never know about :(
