Thinking about Overeem made me wonder about this stupid factoid.

Overeem v Werdum fought 3x in 3 orgs (Pride, Strikeforce, UFC).

Jeremy Horn fought Chael Sonnen 3x in 3 different orgs (Extreme Challenge, SportFight, UFC)

My guess is there are others with 3. Have any two fighters fought in 4 different orgs?

NEVER MIND got my answer. You can delete this, admins.

Throwing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travis_Fulton into an Excel Spreadsheet and sorting by Opponent, I see that:

    • Win 150–41–10 (1) Albert Newberry Submission (guillotine choke) Xtreme Kage Kombat 7-Aug-04 1 N/A Des Moines, Iowa, United States
    • Win 144–41–10 (1) Albert Newberry Submission (guillotine choke) AFA: Return of the Champions 27-Mar-04 1 N/A Waterloo, Iowa, United States
    • Win 57–14–5 Albert Newberry Submission (punches) Kickfest 1 3-Apr-99 1 1:21 Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States
    • Win 43–11–3 Albert Newberry Submission (armbar) Southern Iowa Ultimate Fighting 2 10-Sep-98 1 2:48 Iowa, United States
Actually, there are quite a few examples with Fulton. Including Dan Severn (Iowa Challenge 3, WEC 1: Princes of Pain, Dangerzone: Night of the Beast, Gladiators 2)

Well, this would have to be a pairing that fought each other 4+ times which is exceedingly rare in MMA.

You only wanted one other example?

Plus, not many fighters fight each other 3 times. You'd have to get those journeymen, like Fulton and Severn. It's very unlikely that there will be many examples in the big leagues.
