Always interested in what the Pink goof has to say
This. This is such a non issue. Stoppage wasn't late, Derrick broke no rules of engagement. I tend to lean to the side of caution with things cause it's a fine line being tread in a professional fight. But nothing was wrong with how that fight ended. Derrick let off the second herb made contact, and herb was stopping the fight within like 3 seconds of derricks uppercut making contact to start that whole sequence of events, and can even be seen already starting to move in to get derrick off and waive off the fight before Blaydes had even finished falling to the mat. People just need to come to grips that this sport at times is just extremely violent. Especially when it's the biggest of the big men involved. He doesn't have to. This is what he'd say:
"Sure, you'd like to see a guy stop early if he can but it's the nature of the sport. You go until the ref stops it.
Fucking goofs."
Or something to that effect.
so i didn't watch this fight live because honestly who cares about these shit cards with journeymen headlining
but this is what you guys are complaining about???

wow, you guys are straight up ariel helwani PUSSIES if you're going to complain about this. sitting at home it's easy to complain, but in the heat of battle how the fuck is lewis supposed to know blaydes is out? these guys train to kill each other for months. it's the ref's job to stop the fight not the fighter.
You missed a pretty good card bro.
what fights should i watch, bro
I mean, I can see both sides to this. Blaydes was clearly out before he even hit the canvas, but we see guys deliver follow-up shots like this all the time. It is what it is.so i didn't watch this fight live because honestly who cares about these shit cards with journeymen headlining
