I don't see how anyone can diminish Izzy's work at this point.

Dude came to the UFC, and within two years racked up 7 wins, won the belt, and called out the dude that is the consensus toughest fight in the division for his first defence.

He may be brash, may have a lot of hype, but you can't deny that he's willing to put his money where his mouth is and earn it.

He just had a life and death struggle with Kelvin who should be at 170lbs.

The same Kelvin who got shut down and negated by of all people Till.

You don't have that type of a fight with a guy who should be a weight class lower and be already crowned the future GOAT. Offensively he is great but his defence lacks a lot and is too willing to get in to a war/slugfest. If he had trouble with Kelvin he is going to catch hello with No-Homero. This is MMA so what is his ground game like? What is his wrestling like?

From a pure stand up analysis - yes he is one of the best. At least offensively.

Imagine if Joel lands the same number of shots that Kelvin did? It will be night night.

He is good but the hyperbole from his fans is almost conor fan unbearable.
