Who cares. He sucks.
IIRC he never actually got banned for it, just got a TON of backlash for it.
In all fairness, calling reasonable leftists like them "far left" is just as unfair and inaccurate as calling conservatives like Ben Shapiro far-right. I'm sure you'd object to the latter, so you should have a consistent standard on that rather than a double standard.Kulinksi and Ball are also airheaded far-leftists. I don't know anything about these other guys, so I'll just assume they're the even dumber, more extreme versions that appeal to the ignorant tweener Twitch crowd based on what you said. There are always levels.
I'm usually someone who finds myself defending the gaming community, but if we approach this soberly, Twitch's general base of viewers are the least likely to be employed, the least likely to be informed, the least likely to be involved with government, and the least likely to have deep real-life social networks. Twitch's core are kids who sit around spamming scroll-walls that wheel by so fast even speed-readers can't keep up, and who throw away their allowance money on the prayer it will buy someone's attention for five seconds.
Politicians will keep their fingers on the pulse because they always wants to know what's trending with youths, but they are concerned only with pandering to win votes, here. This crowd brings nothing else to the table. They're the least capable of martialing a meaningful support network of just about any American consumer base in existence.
I guess I remembered it wrong, sorry. I guess Twitch gave him a short ban. He certainly wasn't gone for long. The backlash was a lot worse than the punishment from Twitch. Twitch takes care of their big streamers. If he was smaller he would have been permabanned.I was just going by the quote in your OP. I didn't pay that much attention to the thread/story. - "the time of Piker getting suspended from Twitch for his political comments seems like a distant fantasy"

Kulisnki is a snake in the grass, and it's ridiculous to offer him as some sort of mirror image to Shapiro. Absurd, historically inaccurate, and transparent. Their distance from the center isn't equitable. In all fairness, calling reasonable leftists like them "far left" is just as unfair and inaccurate as calling conservatives like Ben Shapiro far-right. There's a lot of truth in what you're saying about Twitch. Lots of kids like that. But also lots of older guys like me with disposable income who enjoy having a little fun and are able and willing to donate and gift subs to plebs and bit bomb and support the content creators we like. Twitch wouldn't survive without both types.
I'm sure it is, but it's a very young and left-leaning audience that doesn't have a ton of reverence for 9/11.I'm just surprised he's regained any popularity after that. I'm assuming his audience IS mostly American?
Your Overton window is shifted well to the right of mine. And Biden is more center-right than social democrat to me. But you have your views and I have mine.Kulisnki is a snake in the grass, and it's ridiculous to offer him as some sort of mirror image to Shapiro. Absurd, historically inaccurate, and transparent. He has deliberately attempted to apologize for Democratic Socialism by arguing (objectively wrongly) that it and "Social Democracy" can be used interchangeably when quite obviously they cannot. They exist as separate terms for the very tangible reason that they describe mutually exclusive politico-economic philosophies. He could call his brand of politics what is is, Third Way economics, but that doesn't serve his real goal of normalizing socialism.
That's not a "reasonable leftist". I know you want socialism to be perceived as moderate, but it isn't. Biden is a Social Democrat, and that's what Democrats want.
Biden is right-wing according to you.Your Overton window is shifted well to the right of mine. And Biden is more center-right than social democrat to me. But you have your views and I have mine.
The bottom line is that Joe Rogan has invited Ball and Kulinski (several times in his case) on his podcast because they're reasonable people who can discuss things rationally. Kulinski can sit down with right-leaning people like Tim Dillon and get along amicably and have a productive discussion. As can Ben Shapiro on the other side. I really don't think Kulinski is any further to the left than Shapiro is to the right. I would actually argue the opposite.
You can't scream about people on the left calling people like Shapiro far right or alt-right and then turn around and call people like Kulinski and Ball far left. That's a hugely hypocritical double standard. And you are the type of guy who jumps all over people for stuff like that, so... I have a consistent standard. I've called out people on the left who call Shapiro "alt-right". You should have the integrity to do the same.
Incredible.*Vaush went so far as to say "Krystal Ball is a fucking Nazi!"
Nice dodge. And I said center-right, which political compasses have shown. He wants to cut social security and other entitlements. He has similar policies to a 1980s Republican. Don't act like I'm beyond the pale. Just to cover for your own self-serving hypocrisy and double standards. I'll be sure to point this out whenever you want to jump on a leftist who calls Shapiro far-right or alt-right...Biden is right-wing according to you.
Thank you. This is what I sought to provoke. That's all I needed. I'll let rational observers draw their own conclusions about our respective estimates of where these personalities stand based on your opinion of how the political spectrum should be calibrated.
Your "evolved" political perspective is obviously one of a warped person who sailed out to the left and over the edge of the world.

He has his hand up his dog's ass. Real Chad-like.He's killing it yes.
The best part about him is that he's totally a Chad, conservatives who pretend the left is soft hate to see it.
I can't stand Hasan.
