In a way that is similar to the aftermath of Ronda's head kick ktfo loss, there are of course lot of people ripping into Conor, and I can't deny that conor may have had it coming.
Ronda's hype was disgusting, and her fans seemed to have disappeared like some amageadon happened and they all died and got wiped out afterwards, which was kinda funny to me, I suppose. It is like that, in a way, though there seems to be more of Conor's fans left over, I guess.
I don't really know exactly what factors from that fight would make someone to change their opinion on Conor justly, as Conor outboxed Nate thoroughly, before getting caught with the one two. I could go on and on, and someone could point to their fightmetric stats, but who really cares about those in real life? Just as irrelevant as those made up stats and rankings that they one day decided was cool to post on tv screen.
I would also disagree with criticisms thrown towards Conor's tapping to that choke, which I thought was pretty sinked in tight. It wouldn't have suprised if Conor was out on his feet before that, if he was that desparate to try for a takedown, and nothing wrong with tapping to a choke that's tight and non escapable, nor is there any honorable to getting chocked out and going unconscious. Even Fedor tapped when he knew it was in.
I don't think Conor broke, at all. I feel that Chael broke and quit against Rashad, just like Rumble did against Cormier. But that wasn't quitting.
Has it changed your opinion on Conor or is it just Conor's haters gloating in the fall of a fighter that was on the quick rise?
