Anderson, GSP, Jones, Aldo, Cruz!!!!
These by far have earned there place.

And these....

Cain has all the potential to hold onto the HW crown I believe...on a side note he needs to work on his Spanish.

MM looks incredible, I don't see him going anywhere anytime soon. Xbox>PS3

Benson's card will be yanked by Pettis sometime in the near future, of this I am quite sure. You know that song, I gatta feelin'. Yeah.

It's absolutely incredible to me, can you guys think of some examples of when there were as many dominant champs? Ever?

Apex Pred Dominators. Pure.

Ignore Cigano folks, I didnt want to flood the thread with pics and could only fight a collage that was 99% percent accurate :) BUT HERE YOU GO!

btw, Cruz has a vice grip on the bantamweight belt, I don't give a shit if he came from WEC, so did the current flyweight, featherweight, and lightweight champs.
It has been proven time and time again that the WEC guys own the lighter divisions. You have no right to take anything away from cruz, even though I don't like him.

Why is JDS in your collage of champs?

Cigano's no longer the champ. I feel like we're due for an upset sometime soon.

cruz is not dominant in the ufc.

I think there has never been a time like this when concerned with dominant champions. I think that a couple of those dominators will lose soon... As good as they are, they are of the "old breed"

cruz is not dominant in the ufc.

Yes he is.

ignore Cigano, I didn't want to flood it with pics sorry.
You're just going to have to use your imagination for Cain.

Its just so fascinating to me on how incredibly dangerous and effective MMA athletes have become.

haha exactly what I was thinking and I assume that he hates Cain from his ignorant comment about him needing to learn how to speak spanish. Spanish is his first language not his second! His family is originally from Mexico and his dad only speaks Spanish!

Pettis is not beating Bendo and Aldo will crush Pettis.

For the real question yes. Matt Hughes at 170lbs labeled the most dominant WW ever. Chuck Liddell reigned for years! Fedor at HW reigned in Pride for years although his biggest competition was Noguiera and CroCop who did decent in the UFC record wise.

there was a similar thread about this a few years ago, the champs then were..
HW: Brock Lesnar
LHW: Machida
MW: Anderson
WW: GSP
LW: BJ Penn

i think everyone thought that was as good as it gets

Cruz is not "dominant"
He has one defense (two officially because apparently his first UFC fight was a defense, but I don't agree on this)

Aldo (3/4 depending on his first fight), Jones (5), GSP (8) & Silva (10) are dominant. And Aldo might need 2 more defenses to be considered as dominant as the others.
The 2 REAL dominants are GSP & Silva. So many title defenses is amazing.
Valasquez has no defense, Henderson 2, Johnson 1, Rousey 0

Wrong, Ca

The sports like 20-something years old... hard to have a bunch of dominate champs in that time period.

Probably not, although I wouldn't call Cruz a dominant champ at the moment. Pride had Gomi, Wand and Fedor who were all very dominant.

Nope, not ever. Let us take LHW as an example. The previous champion, Shogun, couldn't even defend his belt once. The current UFC champions have even defended their belts more than their PRIDE counterparts like Wanderlei.

Sad life you must live that you've been making so much effort to subtly troll people on sherdog since 2003

Totally disagree with Cruz...as far as I am concerned he isn't even the champ now.

Hughes was pretty dominant too.
