I'm being serious here. Has there ever been someone as good at there job as Tom Brady is at being a QB? It doesn't have to be an athlete, in fact I don't expect it to be an athlete since I'm not aware of any who were as good at their position/sport as Brady. So let's hear some candidates of people who do their job better than TB12 does his...

Albert Einstein
Stephen Hawking
Steve Jobs
Bill Gates
Elon Musk
Jeff Beezos
Warren Buffet

Talk to me when Brady has an IQ above 150, or makes billions of dollars.

The guy is a legend but I probably wouldn't say he is better at football than Wayne Gretzky was at hockey.

Then there are boxers with records like Rocky Marciano, Lennox Lewis, Mayweather etc.

That's just sports. How does one demonstrate that Brady is better at football than Isaac Newton was at math and physics...

Brady is very smart and will have a net worth over a billion in the next year if he doesn’t already. He’d also absolutely fucking wreck any of those guys at any physical competition.

At this point the only one of those guys who still excels at any job is Buffet.

Not sure if this is a joke, but id legit say Tom Cruise is better at his job (actor) very rarely is he in a bad movie. Brady has 100% had off games.

Brady is as close to Cruise level as you can get for football though...and it's a lot easier to have a few off games when you have played 400 or however many. Cruise has the highest hit ratio I've probably ever seen with his movies, but he did still make The Mummy...

Pretty much everybody eventually retires or else loses their A list status though. There was a time when Harrison Ford was untouchable, Arnold as well. Cruise has just managed to maintain his prime for an unprecedented 40 years and counting. Athletes face the same dilemma as well...Jerry Rice, Roy Jones Jr., Anderson Silva, Chuck Liddell, etc. all didn't go out the way would have liked.

If Brady wins one in his 50's then maybe I'll put him on Cruise level.

Sports are a different game. Winning one as a starting QB in your 40s is approaching Cruise level. Tom still isn't 60 yet and his great achievement is just not putting out much crap over 40 straight years, as opposed to still putting out good stuff at an age that isn't that advanced.

I would say Gordie Howe playing at his level at his age is more impressive than Cruise still kicking ass. He was still a completely legit NHL player in his fifties. And a top tier player into his late 40s.

I just need a little bit more from Brady before I put him on that level. He has a few big losses.

The fuck outta here with that bullshit. Brady is worth ~250 million. Somehow he's going to quadruple that net worth in 1 year?

I didn't realize this thread was about physical abilities. In that case, any LHW UFC fighter would destroy Brady in pretty much anything but football. Hell, 3/4 of the guys in the league Brady plays in would destroy him in anything physical. See how that works?

And all of those guys, plus hundreds (even thousands) more that I didn't bother to list, have all been better at their jobs than Brady. Yeah, he's the greatest QB to ever play in the NFL. Possibly the best player ever in that league. Doesn't mean he's the best to ever do any job ever. Or even close to it.

Hitler right up until the end.

Ghengis Khan.

Even within the world of entertainment, which our cultures obsession with is laughably pathetic, he's certainly not the best. There are composers and artists throughout history whose works are still considered unrivaled masterpieces hundreds of years later. Let me know if anyone gives a shit about him or football 200 years from now.
