Has there ever been a "bad" UFC Bantamweight Title fight?

I was just thinking recently about the best and worst title fights in any division, And I Had come to the realization that bantamweight doesn't really have a snoozer title fight. Here's the list

Barao vs Faber
Barao vs wineland

Barao vs Faber II
Dillashaw vs Barao
Dillashaw vs Soto
Dillashaw vs Barao II
Cruz vs dillashaw
Cruz vs Garbrandt
Garbrandt vs Dillashaw


Would you call any of these "Bad" fights? Which one would you say was the worst?

I actually thought TJ vs soto was great and Soto seemed to be pretty well prepared. I thought it was an interesting fight with a great finish.

I didn’t like their last fight. I was hoping we were going to get a war. It ended way too quickly. Some people around here are in love with those quick knockouts. For me I enjoy the drama of a fight building over a long contest.

My favorite BW title fight is Barao/Dillashaw 1 and least favorite is cruz/johnson.

Barao/Dillashaw was a shocking upset and pretty good assbeating.

Cruz/Johnson had it's moments, but pretty ho-hum for me

You missed Cruz vs Faber III, which was pretty dull. But everything involving Barao, TJ, or Cody "No Dad" has been great.

I agree with you when it comes to a long, competitive fight. I get so invested in a gruelling back-and-forth. And I really appreciate a fighter in deep water displaying true heart.

But for you to say that you didn't like TJ/Garbrandt... I'm sorry but I have to assume you're either a TJ hater or a Garbrandt fanboy... I have to say I suspect it's the first one. You cannot claim that TJ hasn't grafted, both his wins over Renan (previously considered p4p top 10 in the sport) came in championship rounds. For me, it's a joy to watch TJ fight and I haven't found any of his fights disappointing in the slightest.

After Faber got touched he was tentative and never looked competitive nor did he take any damage.

I respect TJ. I just wanted a better fight between the two of them. But if he goes out and dominates and wins early again then congratulations. I just thought it was a really close match up and we should get a back-and-forth contest. But if the chins don’t hold up they don’t hold up.

if you watched that fight, DJ was outstriking DOM. Dom just used his size to fall on top of him.
