Has the War Room always been so right leaning? Paranoid?

One thing I've noticed is over time the mods seem to be a little more lax when it comes to racism. And I'm not talking about people expressing views that would be deemed racist, but downright allowing the use of racial slurs and not in jest.

Liberals definitely can be very nutty when it comes to identity politics, but for other topics it is generally just a matter of disagreement. Take any topic for someone on the right and a disgreement is seen as part of a plot by some all powerful institution (the government, illuminati, NWO, etc) to enslave everyone and destroy civilization. In the case of the WR I don't think there are card carrying members of BLM or feminism, but I bet there are a few people on the right here stockpiling ammo, MRE's, and gold for the inevitable take over by that all powerful group.

funny, in my experience the right is far more willing to engage in open discussion than the left

The correct response to an insane situation is sometimes to go insane. I forget who said that, but it rings true to my experience.
Philip K. Dick. Popularized more recently by The Joker.

For all their contributions to fiction, I'm not sure either of those two people's lives can be said to be desireable or worthy of emulation. Dick was an amazing author when it came to ideas, but also a deeply unhappy and very disturbed person.

So essentially, OP made a thread calling for Soviet style mandatory education for 2-3 year olds, then got triggered by sensible posters ripping his juvenile opinion to shreds.

Good to know

I suggest increased education and starting to educate kids at an earlier age and already people are paranoid and ragging against better education standards. Claiming government trying to "indoctrinate kids".

I suggest properly addressing sex education in the class rooms and combating inappropriate viewing of pornography (instead of ignoring it). And people get paranoid and claim "communism".

The list goes on and on. With better public transportation, to cleaner energy, from free sports for youth and physical development to cleaner healthier diets. The "anti-government" paranoia opposes any and everything which betters us.

It seems this sub-forum is dominated by distrust of all mainstream sources, logic, extreme paranoia and a strong dislike for higher education or education in general.

To be fair some of your proposals sounds communist.

Something tells me there is a step between doing nothing and showing pornography. Have you not seen what porn does to your brain? It isn't healthy at all. Why don't we show that information and actually educate the kids on what it can do to you and your relationships instead of showing people have sex
I agree. And 11-12 year olds already see enough porn on their phones, tv and computers in their room.

You seem to like to set an example using a failed system which is why people give you shit.

If you look at the polls that are done in threads, it kinda suggests it's a decent split both ways.

It seems about 50/50 liberal sjw and those with logic.

People will the logic are under-represented in the greater society.

It's the political pendulum. It was the opposite when Bush was in charge.
I'm surprised this doesn't have more likes. A lot of guys on here who are "conservative" would be liberals under Bush. They don't really have any actual political views, just going against the grain. Also, the real right wingers will become much more vocal when they don't have a president just like we couldn't stop the liberals from whining under Bush.

For a place called the "War Room", this is actually a fairly moderate place, with most of the people likely residing right at the centre with their political opinions. We have just grown very soft in our common rhetoric, thus we tend to get shocked and outraged by opinions which challenge the usual narrative.

I actually need to watch my words here because I'm used to not giving a damn about whether somebody gets offended by a magic word or not. As far as I'm concerned, we need to tear down the entire structure which is currently limiting our speech and ability to come up with new ideas.

Just not a big fan of kitchen psychologists calling other people "mentally ill" for having different opinions, reminds me too much of good ol' neighbour USSR. We should strive to be more "liberal" than that.

People who went against Bush were right. Some people just do and say what is right, instead of being overly concerned with whether they are "conservatives" or "liberals".

As a conservative, it would've made sense to go against Bush, because due to his piece of shit administration, conservatives probably won't be seeing another Republican president in a couple of decades.
