Has the belt ever had 4 different champions in under a year like the woman's 135lb belt?

4 times in under 12 months has that ever happened before?

I don't know. We should be glad there's one division where the champs are active. Too bad it's the irrelevant one.

Well, it didn't happen in the womens 135 division either.

LHW

someone explain what changing hands means

An alternate question would be,

when was the last time a title was defended 3 times in less than a year?

Only circumstances I can think of is Mighty Mouse

March 2002 - February 2003 Heavyweight Championship
Randy Couture - Josh Barnett - vacant - Ricco Rodriguez - Tim Sylvia

September 2003 - August 2004 Light-heavyweight Championship
Tito Ortiz - Randy Couture - Vitor Belfort - Randy Couture

July 2008 - May 2009 Light-heavyweight Championship
Rampage Jackson - Forrest Griffin - Rashad Evans - Lyoto Machida

Is this the same poster that tried correcting someone's use of "your" yesterday? Same failure level.

See LHW title between Rampage vs Forrest to Machida vs Shogun.

Jones defended 4 times from September 2011-September 2012.

]Yeh, just had a dig, its actually quite common.

I was thinking 3 times in 12 months as in, march-july and november... when of course, jan-jan with a defence in july is 3 in 1 year..
