Serious question, when sherdog comes to the consensus that a fighter looked "scared" at a staredown, has it ever once translated to the fight where they "fought scared"?

Literally a single time?

Couple people predicted Ronda Holly right but it's all just reaching for straws. I remember when a bunch of people picked Bader over Rumble just because Bader looked a little bit bigger than Rumble at weigh ins.

Ofc not.

These stooges said Aldo's glassy eyes were a killer's stare.

Then predicted Aldo was in Conor's head during weigh ins when he touched the king.

Meanwhile anyone who saw the fight saw a very shook Aldo in that octagon.

The armchair psychologists are good for a chuckle, nothing more.

Maybe one in 10 or 20 times? I'm sure it happens.

Not sure but I thought Aldo was going to go super Saiyan on conor after the weigh-ins.

LOL.

I don't think sherdog forums have ever had a consensus on anything

Its obvious that Conor is a superstar and fans truely enjoys discussing about him both inside and outside the cage plus his physic and mentality..Conor is something very special for the MMA world...

Myles Jury looked seriously uneasy while facing Sanchez at the weight in, and he still easily dominated the fight. I think some sherdoggers put too much attention on body langage and being alpha because they like to think that looking tough and confident means being actually tough and confident.

Who cares about a staredown?
Apart from Rogan.
Jon Jones stared into the audience thinking about his next line or something, and Fedor smiled like he was thinking about his next meal.
It means absolutely nothing.

this place is full of bro scientists who can pick every single emotion apart for each fighter - we're lucky

That's one sherdog/MMA fans in general get credit for. everyone analyzed Ronda as being inexplicably butthurt and unfocused and they were pretty much right

score 1 for body language specialists

Considering some people voted that Tate could KO Holm and that Diego deserved to win against Gomi, you are sadly right.

Staredowns means nothing it's called putting on a show for money.

people see what they wanted to see. What they wanted to see is nate being scared in the staredown, conor upset that his top secret roiding was exposed to the masses, and tmz saw a racist angle that no one else gave two shits about.

I do remember that when Fedor and Crocop met in the ring to announce their fight at critical countdown,Mirko couldnt look him in the eye. That told me that Mirko was a little gotten to by fedor's supremacy.

its true,on the night of the fight he looked very nervous

most of that "analyzing" sherdoggers do is just them talking out their ass and referencing shit they read in comic books or saw in a movie

According to people here, Rampage would maul Jones since he was playful in a staredown.
