Fan or hater would you say he has been a positive influence on the sport?

He brought some good and also a lot of bad.
Hindsight is 40/60.

No, he has made the sport money but led the charge in making belts and contenders fucking irrelevant.

Jury's still out, IMO. If other fighters begin taking home better paydays, I'd be ok calling Conor a net positive.

Aside from that, the ducking and drama and bullshit did nothing for me. Didn't improve the sport.

Of course . Love him or hate him his fights and fight weeks are always exciting.

no. nothing more pathetic than this new age were fighters are expected to talk shit and perform as well in the press conferences as in the fights.

Conor has done nothing but elevate this sport and make history. Of course he's been good.

Little girls whining that he created the era of money fights, have a short memory on all the BS going on before him and inevitably after knowing how people actually are. People rather just pretend Conor is at fault for everything though. They're losers. Pay no attention!

Kinda, but at the same time he isn't bringing in new fans to the sport of MMA. The fans Conor brought in couldn't even tell you who any other champ is besides Khabib. PPVs are way down besides when Conor fights. When Brock and GSP were the PPV kings, MMA as a whole was popular.

Well he certainly brought more eye balls to the sport. That's got to be a positive, except for the naysayers who claim to be purists and prefer someone like Mighty Mouse and an ppv buy rate lower than women's hockey. Was a must watch fighter. Be interesting to see if this is still the case post Khabib. Sure there are negatives, copy cats aping his media antics and everyone calling for money fights being the most prevalent, but the good has massively outweighed the bad just on the fights with Diaz alone, let alone the Aldo demolition.

He's sure brought out the bitterness and hate in a lol of sad jealous people that's for sure.

That's a bad / sad thing.

Feel like hes s created a monster.
But it might be to early to say. Once Conor leaves and if the ufc folds (which I won't think it) it'll have been bad

Of course hes good for the sport.

Just look at all the haters with his pics all over.... Either that, or they idolize Khabib because he beat the villain

However, the salt runs so deep in the veins, that they refuse to say hes good for the sport.

It has been very enjoyable seeing his fans cry and getting banned on sherdog

Good for a laugh
