If what he says is true then why didn't he fight at LHW his entire career? This dude talking just to talk now? Discuss.
Edit:
Chael states the weight advantage lies with the lighter fighter, contrary to the popular belief that the heavier fighter has the advantage.
He began his career at LHW and had many fights there, both wins and losses, long before the Shogun fight. He did win fights at LHW, choking out Shogun in his 2nd fight and also beat Rampage, but he's also said this applies much for to strikers than wrestlers.
Dudes been full of shit since the beginning of time.Cliffs?
Andy Ruiz might disagree with you.If skill is relatively close, the largee man will win everytime. The skill gap needs to be pretty big (even if in just 1 area) for the smaller guy to win. Chael is being trollish here.
A bigger guy can get away with sloppy techniques or can get moves that he "wasnt supposed to" bc the positioning wasnt ideal but he can just explode a bit more. It really is stupid

Boxing has been dominated by big men for the past 20 years, still is. Ruiz needs to beat fury and Wilder to be top dogAndy Ruiz might disagree with you.
Lord Chael is right as usual. This is why fans have such a problem with guys like Lord Chael and Schaub. They know more about the sport than the fans and they don't like that.
He made good points, all the guys who tried to be double champs by going down in weight all lost, the double champs all went up in weight to win a title.
