Asking because I know there is some media/interviews going on but no clue if Brock has any idea who Hunt is or said what he thinks of his resume/style. I ask because if he DOES know then he deserved respect for taking this fight. I think Hunt is definitely more dangerous than Couture/Mir/Carwin were back when Brock fought them.

If Brock doesn't about Hunt and was just told he is a striker with no ground game who has a 0.5 record then someone might be trying to get him killed.

Anyway, huge test and great fight. Hunt can't be strength bullied either so that is another strike against Brock in this match.

Yes, he knows exactly who Hunt is. He dives in the deep end head first. He doesn't duck competition like Fedor.

Brock loves to Hunt. When he was told "Hunt at UFC 200" he immediately said yes and grabbed his guns. I don't think he's aware yet.

I think Carwin was technically a worse match-up considering his wrestling background and devastating power. Brock can absolutely take Hunt down and fuck him up once he's on top. The question is will he be able to stay composed and possibly set his shots up if he fails the first time.

brock has no tv or internet wtf do you think lol

I love this matchup.

You have a K1 legend who has been at the top level since 90's, which is crazy, and a WWE superstar and former UFC HW champion facing each other.

And yeah Brock knows for sure who Mark Hunt is don't worry.

No way, Carwin had power in his hands and terrible technique. At that time no HW in the UFC had legit striking, no one. Then a K-1 level striker came in, they gave Reem to Brock and Reem crushed him. I think the fact that Hunt is such a technical striker, has a really low center of gravity and has proven to be hard to take down makes him a very real threat to Brock, very real. If Hunt touches Brock the way that Carwin did, Brock will be sleeping and Hunt will be walking off. That's why Hunt opened as a 2 to 1 favorite in this thing. I favor Hunt but think Brock is a beast and wouldn't be surprised if he trucked Hunt instead of diving for a take down and then used G & P to finish Hunt. I'm not sure who will win but I'm sure it won't go three rounds.

Lol Lesnar follows the sport closely and knows exactly who Hunt is and what he can do.

I'm sure Brock was given a list of available names and picked Hunt because he thinks he's a good challenge for him but still a winnable fight. Brock's probably been watching Hunt on TV for years and thinking he could beat him.

Completely agree. Hunt is the far more skilled/technical striker obviously, but Carwin's ability to neutralize the wrestling made him the far more difficult opponent. Hunt's TDD has gotten much better, but it's still gonna be a lot easier to take him down than Carwin.

The guy was Zuffa's HW Champion.

Something tells me he has watched every Zuffa fight since he left mma. How could he not ?

So I'm 100% confident that Lesnar knows exactly whom Hunt is.
