Has anyone used beta-alanine, and if so, how much has it helped you?

I have it in bulk from NOW. Have had it for a long time. Should i use it or not?:icon_conf

Yep, took it in a creatine supplement, and also in pill form. It is supposed to help muscular endurance. Take with water, and do not take directly before you workout, it used to make me feel bloated and kinda weird when I took it to close to training time. Not sure exactly how well it worked bc I was usually stacking it, but if you have an unlimited supply, then go for it, although Im not sure if you are suppose to cycle off it or not

I have. It seems to give me the tingles. My lift has gone up but, I imagine that is do to working out, eating more, higher intensity, and a strict diet. Give it a shot man.

From experience yeah use it but it's not essential...if you are trying to increase power, dampen fatigue, gain muscle mass, etc. it's a great amino acid... shit you could google it and probably find everything you need to know about it.

I have taken it before, but only for like a week. I can start being consistent with it. I know its suppose to delay lactic acid buildup and improve muscular endurance. But Im wondering if any personal experiences have confirmed this...

Well then, you, sir, never actually used BA.

I have used BA, I like it quite a lot. I have only anecdotal evidence supporting it's effectiveness, but I believe it is effective due to personal experience, and will eventually cycle back to it, I am sure.

But you need to use it consistently, for a decent length of time. BA works by absorption. Five days of use and you will see none of its effects, save maybe some placebo effects.

LOL you are right. But i did feel the tingles :icon_chee

Thanks for the reply. i think im going to try it out. I heard it takes up to 3 months to see the best effects at like 4g per day or something like that. Im thinking about taking 2 grams 3 times per day. Later

Your suppose to take 6 pills a day for a month i think to get blood saturated then 2 a day to keep it that way (coulod be wrong on levels and time) I recommend it, its not going to make a big difference, but should help.

DO NOT TAKE ALL 6 AT THE SAME TIME.....it will feel like your on cocaine. its far to intense, i say 2 at a time, breakfast, lunch, supper.

All together, right before your workout, with caffiene. That's how I roll. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
