Has anyone had luck using flex-spending for an athletic mouthguard?

Interested to see the results to this...some dentists say it's covered, some dont - some flex places say it is, some dont etc etc.

Just curious to see if anyone has done it before.

my dentist told me its not (at least with my insurance). He also said that the standard ones they make are pretty thin compared to the ones one the market.
